Monorail question :)

We leave for Disney on Saturday and check in at AOA on Sunday. We have ADRs at Chef Mickeys at 6:20 that night. I have two little girls, 5 & 2 who would love to ride the monorail. I was wondering if after dinner if we can hop on the monorail and just ride around without going to a park/resort then get off at the Contemporary again?

Our youngest DGS gets to ride the Monorail as a "reward" for good behavior! So, yes, OP--you can take the girls for a ride around with no issue.

We once sat next to a first timer who thought Monorail was a ride! I explained, thought I was being nice, but my DD4 chastised me for talking to strangers. At any rate, yes, ride to your heart's content.

One word of warning/piece of advice: monorail can be very crowded in the evening when people are commuting to the MK for the Halloween party, or a MSEP or Wishes. You might want to do this another day, in the mid afternoon, when you can sometimes have an entire monorail car to yourself. Could be a nice air-conditioned break, just taking a full-circle trip around the loop.

It might be fine the night you go, depending on the MK schedule, but you might want to have a backup plan if train after train if standing room only. Monorail is often quite full at the Contemporary, with all the commuters to the TTC, Poly, and GF.
