monorail question!?!?

Hi. We have only been to Disney once and we did not ride the monorail, nor did we eat at any resorts other than the one we were staying at. This coming trip (43days) we are eating at 1900 park fare and at ohana. Both are early ressies around 830. We ar staying at cbr. My ? is if we take the disney bus to mk and use the monorail, do we enter the park before its opened or is the entrance outside the park? Trying to decide if its worth getting up super early and all the hassle rather than a taxi. If we can get a picture in front of the castle without anyone else its worth it.

The park will not be open. The monorail entrance is outside of the main gates to the park. You would take the bus to the MK, walk straight across from the bus depot, pass the turnstyles to the MK and then up the platform to the resort monorail.

The monorail station is located outside of the park. The only way to enter the park before opening is to have an early ADR at CRT or CP, or an early appointment that BBB.
