Monorail question

I was reading someone's post about being stuck on the monorail for about 1 hour and it got me thinking. If you're stuck on the monorail & have a medical emergency what do you do? Is there a button to push, to let the conductor know there's a problem? Are you on your own & have to dial 911? I've never noticed anything in the cars to push or pull for help, but I never looked either.

If the train is crowded, everyone can play a "game of telephone" to relay the emergency information up to the driver. Or someone with a cellular telephone can make a real emergency call to 911.

What the driver can do about it depends on how the monorail got stuck.

If there is a traffic jam, the next monorail train has to wait some distance behind where a signal shows red. In case of an emergency trains can be jockeyed slowly until the train with the medical emergency reaches a station.

If the train has genuinely broken down it is necessary to bring a tow engine out to push it. Other trains have to be moved out of the way and the switch beams (track sections) moved to let the tow engine get onto the main line.

In extreme cases riders can be evacuated down to the emergency crews down on the ground although this won't work with some kinds of medical emergencies. Clearing the track and getting the tow engine over is usually quicker than mobilizing an emegency ground crew.

I've seen those as well. I would think Disney has a plan of action for an emergency. They have a number of contingency plans for different types of emergenices in parks I would hope they have one for an emergency on a Monorail.
