Monorail Question

I know about all the delays with the new Monorail Red coming online. My question is are the the old monorails still running, and will this continue until they get the new ones are fully up and going? Also, has anybody ridden lately? I've heard they're only doing one train, regardless of crowd levels.

As far as I know, there is only one train running. It does fill up pretty quickly, I would suggest waiting by a gate and as soon as they open them jump in!

The only time we had a problem was when they were running the new one that got stuck...we wound up sitting at the TL station for 20 minutes before giving up! I would also guess right at open & close they are pretty busy!

I don't know if the old monos are still running but i doubt it. The only ones riding mono red are the cast members that are acting as "testers" They are having trouble with quite a few of the systems and a Disney guy said his guess was september. I read those last two somewhere here on DIS.

What are typical hours of the monorail (like when DL is open 8-12)? Can you ride round trip or is it only one way?
