Monorail Question

We are staying offsite and have an 8:10am character breakfast scheduled at the Crystal Palace. I was reading in the unofficial guide that the Monorails from the TTC don't start running until 8:20 or so but the resort monorails start running earlier. Is this true? I though at one time I had read that they start running 2 hours before opening (9am on this particular day). If the monorail doesn't start running till later...how to I get to MK in time.

Yes, the resort monorails start very early.

Disney schedules early-morning ressies every day.

You won't have any trouble getting where you need to go.

Anyone can board the resort monorail which stops at the MK parking lot/TTC and the MK as well as the Poly, Grand Floridian, and Contemporary.

Thanks for the info. Just to make sure i'm understanding correctly...if the MK express monorail isen't going yet...then I can just board the resort monorail at the TTC? Thanks for all the help.

First of all - you WILL get to the MK via the WDW Monorail without a problem. You will most likely be able to ride the Express Monorail without a problem and certainly will be able to catch the Resort line. Have fun and don't worry - you'll be early, but they'll be waiting for you!

Thank you guys so much...you guys are the best. I've become addicted to this board ever since finding it. DH is looking foward to the trip being over so he can have his wife back...little does he know that once we come back from this trip..i'll be right back on here to share the trip report and pics...and to plan our next one.

Feel free to use the resort monorail for your breakfast at Magic Kingdom. Sometimes the first express monorail and first ferry don't arrive until 15 minutes before official (regular) park opening.

The info you provided about the ferry boats is incorrect. Ferry boats begin running from the TTC to the MK at 0830.

We had ADRs for Kona on the Poly for 8am 9/23. The buses and monorails where running by 7am. I can't swear by the express monorail because we took the resort one.
