Monorail Question

We are only going to have 3 park days on our short Jan trip (19-23) and we love to ride the monorail thru Epcot, but from our plans it looks like we will be ending up in the MK most nights.

Here comes the question...I know the monorail goes through Epcot when it comes from the MK, but does it go back through Epcot when it goes from Epcot TO the MK? I can't remember

Been flip flopping my touring schedule for these 3 days a million times over, now I need to know if I need to re think my plan!! Riding the monorail Through Epcot is always on our MUST DO list!!

I'm pretty sure it does not go back through. Hopefully someone else will soon relpy to confirm or deny.

I am almost certain that it does not go back through epcot. It heads out and away from epcot!!

The Epcot mono just goes to Epcot and back to TTC. If you want MK U just change to other mono. Take care and enjo

Actually, there is no single monorail that runs from MK to EPCOT. You need to go:

MK -> Travel/Tansport Center
TTC -> EPCOT

The TTC to EPCOT monorail goes through Future World. The return trip (EPCOT to TTC) does NOT go through ... just straight back to TTC

... at least I'm pretty sure about the above (I'm never 100% on most things)

Ok...I knew we had to change at the TTC, just was wondering about Epcot to TTC....guess I'll have to rethink my plans a little bit to take us from the MK to Epcot...not the other way around..

It only goes through EPCOT when comimg FROM MK.

If you want the Monorail to Epcot from MK, you need to take the Monorail to TTC then over to Epcot.

When leaving the Magic Kingdom at the entrance to the Express Monorail, it says to Epcot transfer at the TTC. So it's there in writting, but maybe a lot of people don't pay any attention to it or have never seen it.

I have my answer....not what I wanted to hear..I guess now I'll just have to head to the MK first THEN go to Epcot, then back to MK(not a big deal...we hop like mad anyway)


I know the monorails between the MK and Epcot go through the TTC, I just left that out of the question because I was talking about going from park to park....and the TTC is part of the MK to me.
