Monorail next week?

Arriving Columbus Day for a week, but particularly concerned about the first part of the week when we are staying at GF (Mon-Wed). Confirm just came via email, and it said something about monorail work. My sister has just reserved a scooter due to severe knee issues and we are counting on monorail to get back and forth to MK, BLT and EPCOT. Can anyone give me a sense of what to expect?

The current planned schedule for the week of 10/4-10/10 is:

• Sat, Sun, Mon, & Wed
  • Resort Monorail opens at 7am
  • Epcot Monorail opens at 8am
• Tues, Thurs, & Fri
  • Resort Monorail opens at 8:30am
  • Epcot Monorail opens at 9am

I don't know how long this is expected to remain this way, and it is subject to change at any time with no notice. Service may start later in the event if technical difficulties, or may start earlier at management discretion.

We just arrived home yesterday and found that the Monorail from TTC to MK was closed each day we visited from 11:30AM to 6:00PM. This was not noted in the closure schedules but but we found this on our hopper days Wed and Thursday. Not sure if you may experience this again next week, just a heads up for you since it had not been posted earlier.
The Resort beam was running as usual but with much higher ridership because of the MK beam being closed during the hours noted above.
Epcot beam was available for rope drop all days we visited

Thanks - so if we need to get from GF to EPCOT on the monorail will we be able to? Or will will need to do it before 11?

That closure would have no affect on travel between GF & Epcot, other than possibly a slight increase in travel time due to heavier loading.
