My son got a magical moment of a lifetime. . . he actually got to sit in the captain's chair of a monorail while it was stopped at the TTC!!! Yipeeee!!!! Cool!!!!:cool1:

Very cool!!! It really surprises me that they are allowed to do this but it is still really cool. Wish I could do that but never been given the chance. lol

What a special moment and a wonderful memory for him.

One of my nephews, many years ago, got to drive the launch from Yacht Club to MGM (for a few minutes). One of those special Disney moments.

something sounds fishy to me on this one..i wouldnt think they would be allowed to let someone drive the monorail. if you cant drive a segway under 16...

Wow, truly extreme awesomeness! Very, very cool! Thanks for sharing!

That was SOOOOO cool. I'm sure that was against Disney guidelines, but we won't tell ...

Thought twice about it and didn't want to get the monorail pilot in trouble, so I removed the video -- just in case she still works for Disney. Anyhow, it was from a vacation several years ago ;)

Wow, what a great memory. Just don't mention the name of the guy who drove you. ;)

The original post said that the monorail was stopped at the TTC, it does not say that the child drove it...

they actually did let guests drive monorails as part of the year of a million dreams. It had to be setup properly so managers knew who was driving. I'm not exactly sure the logistics of it, but I do know it happened.

The original post had video and showed the kid driving. He just edited his post to say the child set in the chair. He took the video down also, he didn't want to get the cast member in trouble.

this is getting kinda silly..i think there have been 3 versions of the original post..:confused3

:tinker:That is super cool!
That is magical.
