I know the one from TTC to Epcot has been closed for while now, when is it due to open back up?
I also heard the Resort loop monorail won't be stopping at the Poly beginning in Oct, but when it is due to make that stop again?

No date has been given for the reopening of the Poly stop that I've seen. I would say that until the hotel reopens sometime this summer is your safest bet.

The Disney website says the Poly monorail stop will not be in service starting early October but several news sites ran information this past week saying 11/2, FWIW. The 11/2 info seemed like a typo to me given the original “early October” info, so not sure what’s up with that.

Given that this week Disney revealed that the work to the platform and overall Porte-cochere/entrance area will be rather substantial (from their limited description and artwork it seems to be a re-imagining of the entire space), I agree it seems towards early next summer seems logical.

When I saw the artist rendering, that definitely explains why they have to close the stop at the Poly. I agree that early next summer seems about right.

Yeah, and the various news of work timing that came out last week seemed to indicate work would only occur overnight - which makes sense given both beams are in use during the day - so not exactly a project they can work on unabated, which will drag things out.

I'm wondering if while they're redoing the Poly monorail station, if they'll adjust the height of the platform to match the level of the monorail cars? If they did that, then they wouldn't have to use the ramps for ECVs and wheelchairs.

But probably not. If they did, then it wouldn't be consistent with the other stations and any future replacement of the monorail cars would be complicated by that change.

I don't think that's possible, because the plug doors would be blocked from opening.

We have reservations at the Contemporary for Thanksgiving, I’m a little bummed as the monorail is a huge selling point. We like going to different restaurants on the monorail loop and ease of Epcot line. Now it looks like we will be down to GF restaurants and a bus to Epcot

Actually you can get off the at TTC and have a short walk over to the Poly. Conversely you get off at the GF and walk a bit more to the Poly. The number of restaurants/lounges actually opened at the Poly is a different story.
