Monorail Inconsistencies during MNSSHP

My parents went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party last night. Before leaving the Grand Floridian where they are staying, my mother asked what time the monorail would be closing. She was told that the party ends at midnight so it'd be open until 1 am. I am not positive of the exact time that they left, but they were out past 10:30, the time Kathy and T were told it'd be closed when they went. I believe they left just before midnight and were able to take the monorail back to the Grand.

We were there on Friday night. After the second parade had cleared the parade route, we hit a couple of the trick or treat spots and then left the park. The monorail wasn't running and cast members were directing guests to the busses and the boats. Since we parked, we waited and got on the second ferry back to the TTC. While it was like hearding cattle onto the ferry, there was plenty of room on the top deck.
