If DL park opens at 8 am, what time would the monorail from DL start running?

I would guess just a few minutes before 8 since they don't let anyone in the park (not even just onto Main Street) before then if that's when they open. That way you'd get to the TL station right at 8. If they start running it earlier, they might keep the doors closed at the station until 8 or hold you at a rope at the bottom of the ramp.

When we were there last weekend we tried to take it Saturday morning. We have done this before and they always boarded about 5-10 minutes before 8 and then left the station at the dot of 8:00. Well last Saturday it was about 7:55 and they hadn't even started doing the bag checks. The monorail was sitting there but they weren't letting people up the stairs. We got to realizing that it was going to be at least 10-15 minutes since they had to check all the bags, get people on etc. So we got out of line and just walked in. No idea if this is now the new procedure or if something was just different that one morning. If it does run to get you there on the dot of 8 it is great because you will beat all the people coming in via main street.

We just got back. The official park opening was 10:00. They started doing bag checks a few minutes before and the monorail left at 10:05. The park had opened at 9:45. The CM I spoke with said that the monorail never arrives in tomorrowland before they open the turnstyles at the front gate, and usually at least 10 to 15 minutes later.

One other thing to keep in mind is that many of the services available at the front -- mostly stroller rental -- are not available at the monorail station.
