We'll be heading back to Disney this year and I figured we'd be better off with a monorail hotel since we'll have 2 young ones (infant and 2 years old) and one 7 year old. I noticed they are all pretty much the same price, so I was wondering which ones you guys would suggest. At first I was thinking the poly but with all the renos going on im not sure it'll be worth it.

I would still vote Poly for the theme for little ones. I would also suggest WL which is cheaper and you can access MK by boat then hit the monorail for Epcot if you want. We stayed there when my kids were 3 and 4. It is a great kid resort and quiet too.

Wilderness Lodge rates are a bargain compared with the Contemporary, Floridian and Poly .
Only a short boat ride takes you directly to the MK or to the Monorail stations @ Contemporary or MK .

thanks! i'll looking into WL as well. Is it the same type of boat as at PO? or can you keep your kids in the stroller on the boat ride?

The smaller boats require you to fold up the stroller.

We really liked CR/BLT with a toddler because of the monorail and the ability to walk to the MK if we wanted to. CR can be cheaper than the other 2 if you're willing to stay outside of the main building in the garden wing rooms. Those prices are closer to WL prices. BLT studios (the standard views, at least) are also not priced as high as the tower rooms.

Not sure what you're sleeping arrangements are, but since you're technically 5 people (although not a Disney 5), I would take into consideration that the rooms on the monorail are bigger than the WL rooms, and they have day beds.

We had to fold our strollers down on the boat from the WL. Since we have had two still in strollers the last two trips, we've chosen to stay at CR. Half the time ours are asleep or cranky when we were leaving. One of my ds's has some sensory issues. It's really worth it for us to be able to leave them in the stroller, if at all possible. Staying at CR and just walking works best for us. You can ride the monorail for Poly or GF and not have to take the strollers down also.

The CR is the best with stroller age children, IMO. However, if a themed pool is important to you, then I would go with the GF garden view room. If you don't want to fold the stroller, you will have to ride the monorail to the GF. At the CR you can ride or walk.
