monorail from MK to epcot

If we do not have park hopper tix, can we take the monorail from MK to epcot as an alternative to the bus at the end of our park day?

whether we can or can't, is it advantageous to do this? we are not fans of the buses at DW.

the monorail stations are located outside of the theme parks so yes you can take the monorail from MK to the TTC and then get on the monorail line that will take you to epcot.


but I am confused about the reason you want to do this.
are you parking at epcot to begin with or......?

yeah maybe i should back up and even ask if this makes sense. actually as i type this i know it doesn't make sense. we are staying at the boardwalk. i just realized the monorail for epcot picks up at the other entrance. i was thinking that when we went to MK, it would be a lot easier to hop on the monorail to epcot and walk back to our room at the boardwalk, but now that i remember that our entrance to epcot is at the IG, I realize this won't work after all. thanks for the info though!

yeah if you took the monorail you'd either have to enter epcot and head to the international gateway or you'd have to take a bus from epcot to say animal kingdom and then take a bus from there to boardwalk so it would be much more convenitent if you had a park hopper otherwise I'd just take the bus from MK to boardwalk.

and epcot probably closes earlier than mk that day, so you would have to get to epcot before it closes.
