Monorail & Early Morning?

Is the monorail open early for the Extra Magic Hour? We'll be at the Paradise Pier & would love to avoid the long walk first thing in the morning.

but others prefer to walk to main gate. We've always gotten on the first monorail, and last week we didn't get to the line until 6:45 am for a 7am opening.

Yes, I have used it for MM too, just make sure you have your room key on you.

Did you know that the walk is a lot shorter from the Paradise Pier hotel if you cut through the Grand California hotel? That's the way we walked every time when we stayed there last October. I think it would have been longer to go over to the monorail.

I've noticed that the walk from the DL gates to monorail station in Tomorrow land is the same as the Monorail ride from DTD to Tomorrow land
