WLL - Yes, Brian and I are married. It was our first anniversary! I am a vodka girl all the way, no gin for me! I usually like Ketel One or Stoli, what about you? Speaking of Dirty Martini's, boy oh boy does VF do them up right! They were just perfect! I wish we had the DDE card, but we don't. I think we are going to look into getting one though. As often as we go to WDW and eat (and drink) I think we'll get our $$'s worth. We loved our room at POFQ. After seeing POR, Brian really liked the looks of it and liked how there is lots of stuff to do there, but I think POFQ is perfect. I like the courtyards and the whole ambiance of it. Awww, thank you for the compliments on the pictures! *blush*

Disneyaholic23 - I am glad you like the pictures! Thanks! I love posting pictures because I love to see other people's pictures. I agree with you, it really enhances the trip report experience. Ooooh, you spent NYE at Jellyrolls?! How fun! Was it super crowded?

Luvthatduck - Yeppers the martini was yummy! One of the best I've had! They gave us 3 olives in each. They weren't stuffed, but oh how I love bleu cheese stuffed olives. I wonder if that's something you have to specifically ask for? I'll have to inquire the next time we are there.

Re: Gay days - I agree with Ahhhh, it was no big deal at all. We were at both Epcot and MGM and we some people here and there, but nothing really out of the ordinary. In fact, if I didn't know it was gay days I probably wouldn't have given it a second thought at all.

MegMeg-Well, you two make an adorable couple. I am so glad that you got to spend your first anniversary at WDW. What great memories you are making! As for the blue cheese stuffed olives....I know they have them at TL at WL...not sure about elsewhere...but they are INCREDIBLE and I started making them at home, but then I found myself eating ten or so a night so I decided to leave them as a "vacation treat." I also like Ketel One and Stoli...and I think I mentioned Hangar One vodka to you. It is offered at upscale places around WDW...I think VF has it...I KNOW Jiko has it. Anyway, try it sometime...I had it a Mizner's Lounge at GF also.

If you have any pictues of POFQ and feel like posting them, please do...I would love to see!

Oooh Ooh, WLL will you share one of your dirty martinis with me? I just finished a biostatistics exam and could definitely use something a bit heftier than this wine I am drinking. Heh! Mmm, Hangar One vodka! At Jiko's DH got one of their apula-tinis (their version of an apple martini) and it was made with Kaffir lime Hangar One. Wow was it good! I don't usually care for apple martinis (after crossing over to the dirty apples seem very sweet), but that Kaffir vodka was goooood!

Ahhhh and Minnie I can't wait to see pictures and read your trip review.

Aidensom - I am actually over in Clearwater. I live in NE Clearwater and work in downtown Clearwater, but I schlep over to USF for school. I am getting my Master's in Public Health. I know where Temple Terrace is, that's pretty close to USF, isn't it?

Megmeg-I went to the Hangar One website awhile ago (yes, I am a true lush...I look up websites of my favorite liquors!) and saw they made a few infused vodkas. Didn't know they had them at WDW, so now I know! I agree, now that I drink dirty martinis, the sour apple or cosmos taste awfully sweet to me. But of course I would not turn one down!

Well...I am going out of town til Sunday...to Melbourne Beach. Our house there is about 30 miles north of Disney Vero. I am hoping to pop over to MK on Friday...the last day before my seasonal pass blackout dates begin. We'll see...I am worried about crowds and also weather. I don't want to go if it is too hot, or if it is raining, so what does that leave me with????

Guess I will have to see ahhh and Minnie's lush report when I return

Well . . . count me as a true lush too then. A couple ladies at work and I yak about two things usually - drinks and eating right. We use http://www.drinksmixer.com to look up calorie contents and come up with new ideas.


And here's a question that's been annoying me that I'm sure the LOTW folks can help with. At my brothers, when we're hanging around the pool, we drink Mike's Hard Lemonade. My 6yo niece had the "alcohol/drug" talk in kindegarten this year and counts the beers in the fridge. If we have more than one, she starts lecturing and sometimes yelling. And she doesn't stop! For some reason, she doesn't bother with the "lemonade" or "smoothies". Anyway.... does anyone know what are the words in the caps of Mike's are for? We can't figure it out and after a few, it really drives us nutz!
