So, DH, 2 friends and I have a fun first night planned...I hope. I need a little help. So we plan to monorail around the 3 monorail resorts, stop, check out the hotels and have drinks and food at the bar. I know Tambu Lounge has food and there is the sushi bar at the Poly....does The Wave bar have food?? What about the bar at GF?? Any help!!

Both the Wave bar and Misner's lounge at GF serve appetizers. The Wave has desserts also.

You have given me a great idea. Sounds like something I would like to do also. No ADR's and a good chance to check out the other resorts... You have a come up with a great evening......

Anyone know where a menu for these can be found? There is a menu for Tambu lounge on allearnet.....but that's all...

That menu's also kind of old.

The unofficial sites rely on readers to send in menus. Most visitors don't think to send in menus from the lounges.

does anyone know what time these lounges either stop serving food, or close altogether?

DH and I are going to have a "date" night while DD is in the Neverland Club. We were going to celebrate my Big 4-0 at V&A, but I didn't want to get all fancied up again.

We had planned on playing at MK 'til it closes at 7PM for MNSSHP. This sounds like a great idea! The Wave, Tambu, and Mizner's too! Now that's a real adult date night!;) Thanks for the idea!:thumbsup2

We're doing something similar on Wednesday when we check in. Mommy may stop for a drink at all of the resorts ;) but the kids are just interested in riding the monorail and checking everything out since it's our first night there.

This is the new “touring plan” for my DH and I!! Instead of loading up on more food than we really need or want, we hit the lounges and have cocktails and appetizers! We did it last year when we were there in December and loved it. Since we stayed at VWL, we did the monorail loop and included WL.

We really wanted to relax and enjoy the ambiance, so we picked a different lounge each night. We went to the Tambu Lounge at the Poly, Mizner’s in GF, Outer Rim at CR (not there now with the renovation), and Territory Lounge in WL!! It was awesome! Can’t remember exactly what we had at each resort, but do remember everything was yummy!!! The appetizer menus were limited, and there was a bit of repetition between the lounges, but we still enjoyed it. :goodvibes

We’ll be back at VWL in December this year, and plan on doing the same thing, substituting Cali Grill or The Wave for Outer Rim. In February, we’re staying at BWV, so we’ll try the Epcot Resorts!! We love it!

Hope you have fun too!! :flower3:

This sounds like great fun. We are staying off property the night we arrive in Orlando and checking into Fort Wilderness Cabins the next morning. Do you need a park ticket to ride the monorail? This sounds like a fun activity for the evening we arrive.

No ticket needed

my husband and I do this every trip! The kids love the Neverland club, and we start at the Poly bar for drinks and app's and we also go to the Contemporary 15th floor lounge and snag a seat at either the bar or the lounge and get drinks and flatbread pizzas (can catch Wishes on thedeck too!) then to the Floridian for the last round at either lounge there....
It's great adult fun!!!!
