My wife & I just came back from WDW and we spent an entire afternoon & evening doing the monorail crawl! And it was the best day of our entire trip!

*Note: we did not do a theme park on this day, but started by taking a Lyft from our resort (Dolphin) to Fort Wilderness Lodge for lunch. Geyser Point Bar & Grill was our first stop and it was phenomenal! Directly overlooking the lake, great service, relaxing atmosphere, and food & drinks were fantastic. Our favorites from Geyser were the Bison Cheeseburger and Captain's Mai Tai. After that, Territory Lounge for drinks inside the Lodge (which opens at 4:00p). We then took a boat taxi ride from Fort Wilderness to Contemporary Resort, and headed straight for The Wave Lounge. We split an order of Bacon & Eggs Appetizer (highly recommend!) and my wife had the Magical Star Cocktail. They put a glowing cube in the cocktail (tasty and very
Instagram worthy). Then upstairs to the main concourse to check out The Outer Rim Bar. Fun little bar that was great for people watching and a view of the Contemporary monorail and Chef Mickey's Restaurant. We later headed to the California Grill check-in stand (on the 2nd floor) to see if they had any availability, as we had made no reservations. Luckily for us they instantly sat us at the sushi bar at California Grill where my wife & I split a Spicy Kazan Roll (fireball sauce!!) and a few glasses of wine. Our timing was perfect, as we were able to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from their outdoor viewing deck after our dinner.

Our next stop was to hop on the monorail and head to the Polynesian Resort. We went straight to Trader Sam's Grog Grotto (tiki bar) to get our name in. About a 40 minute wait, but it turned out to be perfect as we got to watch the Electrical Water Pageant cruise by as we relaxed in lounge chairs on the Poly Beach. We didn't have time to grab a bread pudding dessert at Tambu Lounge, but we most definitely will be coming back for that on our next trip. We finally got into Trader Sam's and it is literally the coolest bar on property. The bar completely comes to life like the Enchanted Tiki Room when certain drinks are ordered. We angered the animatronic tiki god by ordering the Skipper Sipper and HippopotoMai-Tai and they both come in awesome take-home mugs!

Our last stop was a monorail ride to the Grand Floridian where we checked out the new Enchanted Rose Bar. We did the table-side cocktails and it was a perfect romantic place to end the night! Overall an excellent experience - just be prepared to spend a lot of money on food & drinks. Most importantly, be sure to not rush yourselves and enjoy every spot along the crawl and have fun mingling with other monorail crawlers! Have a great time!
