Monorail Collision in WDW

It happened at 2:00am at the Epcot station. One monorail driver was killed, and 8 others were injured.

thats scary.
a friend of mine who works at epcot has been hearing about it non-stop all morning. she assumed that one monorail was not moving, and the other had hit it, she said she would give me information as she found out.

I can't believe this :/ I always researched things like this in WDW & DL but nothing really happened recently & this is such a shame. Especially on a holiday

OMG..that looks awful!
There must have been some kind of computer malfunction, because there are sensors that make the monorail stop if there's a backup on the rail line. It's awful.

But on a lighter note, he died in a great place. That's how I wanna check out, in Disney World.

I just got back from WDW and heard about it this morning. They shut down all the monorail lines and routed a ton of buses to pick up at the monorail resorts to drop off at MK. When we we leaving to go to the airport we say Monorail Lime sitting in the Grand Floridian station and a monorail (I think), sitting in the middle of the Epcot line. MK closed at 1am that night so the monorails closed at 2. It was probably one of the last runs he was making too. R.I.P.

The creepy part was that I rode on Monorail Blue yesterday before the crash, idk just kinda weird for me.
