Monorail and train playset...

not sure where to put this question but does anyone know what "gauge" the monorail and train playlets are? gauge as in model railroad terms.

The monorail is not really a specific gauge, but it will pass for use with HO train sets.

There have been a number of WDW train sets.
I have an older HO set that has (sadly) long been discontinued.

They have been selling, for years, a battery operated G size set, with plastic tracks.

Thanks Robo. My Dad just put a nice G gauge track in his garden outside and I was hoping the monorail set would be a fit...but guess not. I will check later this week, but wondering if any if the shops at the Germany pavilion sell train stuff?

Monorail set would be too small for G Scale, a little bit bigger than HO but smaller than S Scale.

Germany sells LGB sets (G Scale and very pricey) and a smaller set that I can't remember the name (Maerklin I think), that is closer to HO Scale but it is a modern style as I remember (haven't looked at them there for a couple of years) and as I remember, looked more like the high speed European style trains. Maybe someone else here has more info on it.

There used to be an LGB set that had Disney cars with it but I haven't seen it listed in their catalog for a long time. Might still find them from collectors but they were VERY expensive when I priced them about 5 years ago or so.

Wish you wouldn't have brought up this topic LOL, now I won't get much sleep tonight while I look up for that Disney set.

While doing a search, I found this on EBay that I had no idea they ever made. Had never seen it before. VERY PRICEY but I'm sure pretty rare.
