Does the monorail run for the 9 am early entrys into toontown and fantasy land?

I was wondering the same thing....................anyone? :worship:

Yes, it does. It drops off only in Tomorrowland, though.

It does, but its on a limited schedule right now. It might be better to use the main gate. You can always check on your way there, and if its going to be a wait, go ahead and walk.

I always thought that the monorail didn't run until scheulded opening. Guess you learn something new every day.

We took the Monorail last Thursday (2/23) into Disneyland for Early Entry....so I know it does run. The only problem is that it is not doing the full circle these days, so once a train leaves, you have to wait for it to get to tomorrow land and then come back to the Downtown Disney station.

So...if you want to take full advantage of EE, make sure you are at the station EARLY!

Could someone please explain? If EE opens up Fantasyland or Toontown, and you take the monorail to Tomorrowland (which is closed), can you then walk to Fantasyland or Toontown?

I thought (pictured in my head, because I haven't been there yet) that when an area is closed, you couldn't even walk through; but it sounds like that is incorrect?

5girlslovedisney, when you say to get to the monorail station early, do you mean 10 minutes early? Longer?

Thanks!

Actually, Tomorrowland is part of EE (Space, Buzz and Astro-orbiter are open). Also, because the Monorail is running on the shorter part of the track, even though it's in shuttle mode, it actually doesn't take much longer between trains than if they were running two trains in regular mode. It only takes about 2 minutes for it to get from station to station.

Toontown is not open for early entry. Generally Toontown opens 1 hour after normal opening, unless you have the AAA or Costco Package which provides passes to Toontown Magic Madness, where you can enter Towntown 1 hour early.

Also for the monorail it is about 9 minutes between leaving the station and returning for the next load. That was in the afternoon, when there were people returning from Tomorrowland to DTD, so probably would be shorter time for early entry.

is there a monorail station at all the 3 resorts/hotels? how would you get onto the monorail? and who gets early entry? do you just go and you're in? or do you have to have special passes for that? (stupid question, i know! but i need to know, so thanx!) :flower:

Disneyland Monorail (Opened: June 14, 1959)
Take a ride on the "Highway in the Sky." Guests are transported on a 2.5-mile long track aboard America's first daily operating monorail system. Travel from Tomorrowland in Disneyland to the Downtown Disney Station, which is accessible to the Disneyland Resort Hotels. (When boarding at the Downtown Disney station, guests must disembark in Tomorrowland.)

The monorail does not stop at the hotels, rather the hotels are in close proximity to the station at Downtown Disney. Just check out any Disney map.
