monorail always down or just when we went?

We tried to ride the monorail 3 times and it was down all 3 times.

We waited the 3rd time and then got to ride it round trip we wanted to ride in the front and finally got on.

Just seems like it was down more then it would run.

I was there from May 25-30 and the monorail was only down from approximately 8:30 to 10 pm for the fireworks show. The monorail was always on time too, even when the CMs said it would be late. We used it often to get in and out of the parks because it gave us easy access to our hotel and made it easy to start our magic mornings in Tomorrowland.

I remember when they first put the new monorail in, it was having some problems. Maybe they are still working that?

When did you try to go? It was open every time we saw it (well except for in the early mornings before it was supposed to be open).

I've found the same thing the past few visits. Hit or miss if it was running almost all day. Sometimes they'd only have a single monorail on the track making 40 minute lines in Tomorrowland and almost as long in DTD.

In April they were testing the orange one. The only one that people could ride was Red. The day I was there, It didn't break down till 8pm. Are they testing a new one? That would explain it, if it's a new one.

It's been up every one of our trips so far this year. It was up the 23rd-26th except during fireworks, they used the blue and orange ones that weekend.

when we went in March we were set to go on the first ride of the morning. we were also in the front with the train operator.. it failed 6 times to " reboot" and we were finally asked to come back later. i read the article from i think Al lutz that talked about the failures and how Disney may need to just buy new american made parts or something like that..
