Monorail Access

I am just starting to plan our trip for July 2006. We last went to WDW in July 1999 as a family of 4 - we are now a family of 5. We stayed at the Polynesian on the monorail because we found a great deal and the access to the monorail was great (2 small children and pregnant mom in hot July!!!). I am considering staying in the Epcot area this time, but also want the monorail access again. Because some of the resorts are in walking distance to Epcot, can't you walk to Epcot and take the monorail to the MK instead of waiting for the bus????? I hope this isn't too stupid of a question.

Also - how strict are they on the 4 per room limit in the studio rooms at the villas????? My kids can sleep on the floor to save a buck or a hundred.

The Epcot resorts are walking distance to Epcot, but it's through the rear entrance of Epcot. You will have to walk through world showcase to get to the front of the park, exit the front gate, and board the monorail.

Just something to think about....Depending on what kind of park tickets you have, you don't want to waste a day just to walk through Epcot.

Thanks. I didn't realize you had to walk through the resort to get to the monorail. Sounds like the bus to Magic Kingdom. I am still interested in the Beach Club Villas because they look very nice. I guess taking the bus to MK isn't so bad. Otherwise, we'll probably try the Contemporary - people seem to enjoy it. Too bad my family is split on the decision. Any comments on which one is better???????

BCV you also are in walking distance of MGM and also have the Boardwalk there.
