Monorail access limited?

I got an e-mail this morning saying that monorails are not running in the morning or evening.

schedule: resort 8:30- midnight
epcot: 9:30-11:30
express: 9am-11pm

"june 22nd through end of summer"

does this have to do with the automated system installation they have been doing? worried about getting around in the early morning. sometimes I cut through epcot to avoid taking buses (from boardwalk). long walk I know but can't beat the view from epcot might have to rethink some early fastpasses at MK...

what do you do if you have the early Norway breakfast? or what if you have a breakfast at GF but you are staying at poly? are they running extra buses?

We will be at Bay Lake Tower Sept. 13 thru 21st. The "end of summer" is technically close to the end of September, wondering (and hoping!) if the monorail will be running regularly by Sept. 13 if anyone has any info? thanks!

Are you already in Disney? We leave this week and didn't get an email about the change in monorail service. Do they just send out sporadic emails?

Yes.

Buses between the monorail resorts, also stopping at TTC, start running around 7:00 during the delayed opening. There are also buses directly to Epcot, which I think start at 8 a.m.; I don't know how you would get to an earlier breakfast ressie.

No date has been announced yet for the return to normal service. "End of summer" is still all we know.

As already mentioned, there will be buses running between the monorail resorts, but you can walk between the Poly and GF too.

For the early breakfast at EPCOT/Norway, if there aren't buses running early enough, you could always take a cab.
