Monkey See Monkey Donut - A new Dunkin' Donut with Reese's PB.

Today was the first day of school, so I thought I would treat my kids to a donut at Dunkin' Donuts. When we got there, my kids decided they weren't hungry and passed on the donuts. I bought an iced coffee.

Anyway, the guy behind the counter knows me, and gave my kids each a free "Monkey See Monkey Donut". It looks like a DD Boston Creme with peanuts on top. It has some type of peanut butter cream in it.

When we got home, we tried them.... all 3 of us HATED them... Now I am not a donut guy, but my kids are. They wouldn't eat more than the first bite, and I wouldn't either.

LOL, we fed them to our dogs.... trust us - my kids and I - these things are NASTY.

My husband brought home a dozen doughnuts yesterday, and my 12 year old who pretty much eats anything thought they were really gross.

They do. It isn't likely that there was enough chocolate on them to hurt most dogs, but it's still a bad idea to feed it to them!

Well, we scraped it off, but my one dog stole a GIANT candy bar last week from the pantry... no ill effects.

DH tried one on Monday... He said it was super nasty. I don't eat bananna flavored things, so he knew better than to try and share!

Agreed...those were gross & also the filled Dulce de Leche donuts were nasty. They keep introducing new flavors and non seem to be very good...if it ain't broke don't fix it!
