Fans of the show Monkey Business which follows the lives of the primates at Monkey World might like to know that the new series starts tonight and weeknights at 6.30. Its now called Monkey Life and has moved from Animal Planet to channel Five.
This series will include Bryan a young chimp rescued from life as a mexican photographers tourist prop. To stop him biting the tourists his owner sickeningly had punched most of his teeth out. We know this as on arrival at Monkey World they had to remove tiny pieces of milk teeth that were left behind from his gums.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Tutti the chimp I have adopted is settling into one of the adult groups and how Rodders, my husbands adopted chimp faired when he was introduced into the nursery.

Thanx for the info:thumbsup2

No doubt my mum will be watching this one, she loves all the animal and wildlife programmes.

I watched it tonight. How awful was the narrator guy? Also thought Jim's illness was showing on him, so sad. The credits at the end had "In Memory of Jim Cronin, MBE".

The narrator guy was Andy Serkis (Gollum). I'll have to admit I prefered Chris Searle. The programme didnt seem to flow as well as Monkey Business but apparently the series will contain several different directors and some CCTV shots so that should be interesting.
