Love this show and like the new girl so far. Sharona kind of got to me after awhile with her accent and trampy outfits. I think they wouldn't renew her contract because she wanted more money.

I forgot it was on. Not real crazy about the new girl, the first episode she whined alot. I do agree about Sharona's outfits, kinda trampy. I read that Bitty Schramm was difficult to work with so they parted ways. But you never know how much of that is true. I thought the last 1/2 season shows weren't that good. I hope they improve cause I really like Monk.

I agree about the last half season. Depended too much on his OCD as a major prop. I am wondering if it had to do with the problems with Sharona. The new one seems to be doing well. Also she isn't written as being so willing to cave to his demands, forcing Monk to be a bit less needy.

I agree. It was going downhill a bit. The episode that really bothered me was the one where they went to New York and Monk was all freaked out about the "Big City". Hello!? You live in San Francisco.

I loved Sharona and was ready to quit this season. I've been pleasantly suprised, however, with the new girl. Watching the latest episode on TiVO right now.

I love this show. I like Sharona's replacement. The show is still very good.

The reason I think Sharona's replacement helps the show is that she doesn't put up with Monk's craziness so much. This keeps the show from getting drug down with it too much.

I love this show as well. When I heard that Sharona was being replaced, I was a bit bummed. But after watching the new episodes, I do like her replacement alot.

My mom just got me watching this show the last two episodes. I like it! Since I never saw Sharona, I can't compare.

I'm addicted to Monk! I love the little thing he does with his shoulder in the opening credits when he's brushing his teeth. It just gives me the giggles every week.

I was skeptical of Sharona's replacement, but am enjoying here ok so far. I loved it when she asked for her expenses to be paid and then refused to give him a wipe! HA HA, Hee Hee!

I TiVo it every week, and tonight we will be doing a Monkathon since we haven't watched last week's show yet.
