Okay, I swear I saw someone post that they had a new food court somewhere that offered Mongolian Barbecue, but I can find it nowhere on allears. Did I dream this?

From http://allearsnet.com/tp/ep/e_land.htm

Sunshine Seasons - New Flavors at Sunshine Seasons in the Land. During the time the Land pavilion has been closed (scheduled to reopen in May), the Sunshine Season Food Fair has undergone a renovation including its new name. The new eatery will feature an open kitchen, five new stations and a centralized cashier (think Pepper Market or All Stars/Pop Century Food Court). The wood-fired grill will feature rotisserie items including Ancho-rubbed beef, Moroccan chicken and grilled Atlantic salmon. The Soup and Salad station will feature the freshest herbs and vegetables from The Land greenhouse!

The Asian Wok Shop offers noodle bowls and stir fry including a Mongolian barbecue and wok station. Foods here will have a light healthy approach that include Mongolian vegetable beef stir fry and a vegetarian noodle bowl with tofu (sounds like what is on the new Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station menu). Look for Black-forest ham and salami, turkey mufuletta and grilled veggie Cuban sandwiches at the Sandwich Shop. Finally, there will be a bakery. Each station will offer vegetarian and children's items as well as grab-and-go foods.

Terry,

I'm impressed! I'm sure my first post wasn't helpful to anyone!

Welcome to the Dis, and thank you so much for the info. We're headed out tomorrow and my brother loves Mongolian Barbecue..... Now I have the info I need to steer him in the right direction.

Again, welcome!

I had the mongolian beef stir fry yesterday when we were there... it was good. Nothing to write home about, but better than a burger and fries. The whole Sunshine Grill area has some interesting options for quick meals that aren't the 'usual'.

Unfortunately it's not really what you're thinking for Mongolian BBQ. It's not a selection of fresh veggies and meats that they put together to your specification. It's just a couple noodle bowls and a beef stir fry. I'm really not sure why it's being called Mongolian BBQ, though.

Thanks for the info.

Forever, you are right: I was imagining MOngolian Barbecue in the traditional sense, soI probably won't send my brother there.

It sounds like some nice, healthier alternatives for a quick and easy lunch- I will try it out myself for sure.
