My dad has agreed that if my best friend and I can make $450 by August 22 she can come to Disney World with us. So, I need your help.
I am 13 and have no idea how I am going to get $450. I can do baby sitting, but that only pays so much. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

If you live in a neighborhood, go around with your friend and ask if the families have any odd jobs for you to do. Mothers with kids could have you babysit or clean the house, and old people will probably want you to clean, mow, work in a flower garden, go grocery shopping with them, or even just sit and talk with them.

I wouldnt charge per hour or job, just say that you will accept whatever the person will give you. They will respect that and probably be more willing to give you more money.

I'd go with doing odd jobs around your neighbourhood.
I think what Hunter said about not charging a certain amount is a pretty good idea too.

-You should try having a yard sale in the spring or summer to sell old stuff. Or you can sell on ebay if your parents allow it.
-You can also bring old clothes to a thrift store to sell.
-Bringing cans to recycling places in supermarkets can help to raise some small money.
-You could call a local newspaper and see if they have any routes available.
-Try and see if your parents have any extra chores you can pick up around the house.
-Save all the coins you can find, and the change will add up.
-If you make a website about something you like, you can hook up the google AdSense program to it so that you make money for every ad someone clicks on.

keep all your change and cash it in at the bank- not at Coinstar or anything like that because they charge like 8% of what you cash in.

Change adds up. I saved my change from August to November for my december trip to WDW so I could buy x-mas presents. I had over $100. That's a quarter of what you need.

If your crafty you could sell stuff on etsy...

I know $450 is hard to make... I make that in maybe a month and a half at my steady job. But being that young just offer to babysit. If you know a mom who just had a baby sometimes they hire a mommys helper who pretty much watches the kids while the mom takes a nap or does dishes or soemthing...
