Money Exchange in the Western Caribbean

We are doing the W. Caribbean itinerary on the Fantasy in about a week. We are taking cash for cabs and tips and things. Will we need to exchange currency in the various ports? We are going to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica.

We used cash in Grand Cayman and Jamaica. I think I also just used my AMEX card in GC. We didn't get off in Cozumel.

We also used cash in Grand Cayman (cab/van, food, souvenirs, etc.) and in Cozumel (taxi, souvenirs at the shops by the port).

On our Western Caribbean cruises we used U.S. dollars to pay for everything. Almost every where we went, U.S. dollars were accepted and in some cases, the people actually asked for them (Jamaica specifically). Keep in mind that you may receive that country's currency as change if you do not have the exact amount.
