are Monday’s still the worst day in terms of crowds in the park? We arrive on Saturday and are staying 7 nights with 5 day park hoppers. I was planning to go to the parks during the week but wondering if I should make Monday my non park day due to crowds?

It is spring break so the day of the week may not matter a tin. However, Mondays have been bad the last few years. They are not necessarily more crowded than Sunday during spring break crowds, but I would expect more crowded than Tues to Thurs. Consider that parents may take a lomg weekend instead of the whole week off.

I can't speak for every Monday but the Monday we went a couple of weeks ago was one of the busiest days I have ever seen, way more than the weekend.

From my personal experience...Mondays where there is a holiday isn't that awful. I went on MLK day, Labor Day, and Memorial Day and don't remember it being overly insane. Busy yes, crazy packed, no. I think some people get scared off by holidays which can help. However, I went on a random Monday in late July (I think July 23)...that day was RIDICULOUS! To the point where I am not going on a random Monday anymore. My friend and her boyfriend went on another random Monday after I told them about what I experienced, and they went home by 12 pm because it was just too crazy. And they are never going back on Mondays anymore lol.

It is the morning of the four day weekend before catching flights in the pm or on tuesday morning, so MOnday tends to be that last crush of folks leaving or the very first day of the trip for the rest of the week.

Mondays are still pretty busy. So it might not hurt to make that your non-park day.
I’ve always supposed that many park visitors plan on three-day weekends in the hope that Monday won’t be that busy; that most other guests will have already left. But since so many think that way, it in fact gets pretty busy. We had the misfortune to be in the park on a Monday last summer, at which time we all said “Never again.” The Park was absolutely slammed.

For us, Sundays are always great, at least for the first few hours (8:00 till about 10:30). A park friend refers to that time as “Golden hours.” Unless something unusual is going on (a special event such as a marathon, the Choc Wall, the release of a new AP popcorn bucket or Disney cup or a significant Disney anniversary), you can count on a few quality Sunday morning hours at DL (presuming an 8:00 open).

We were just there last weekend. Monday was probably the least busy day. Tuesday (yesterday) was an absolute nightmare.

We were there two days ago and DCA was not busy; no lines for the F&W booths either.

This past Monday was actually not that bad, though I was at DCA and didn't go into DL. It didn't feel overly crowded though. We were there from rope drop until about 4PM and, with using MP when possible, we only waited maybe 20-25 minutes max. for any attraction.
