Well I'm in, and have to admit that it's good to come to the riddle thread late when clues have been posted!

Careful John,
For many of us we do not recognize the clues until after we know the answer and it isn't nice to rub salt in the wounds of those who haven't gotten it.
However, I do agree that today's are pretty blatent; otherwise, I would not have gotten it.
Just being friendly; I don't mean to come across as a NAG.....

I hope those hints I sent you helped and remember, careful spelling is important too. Just be careful about moving those 10 chains.
Alan, the comment was more a poke at someone in particular one who was complaining about not getting it rather than in-general. Didn't mean to beat that dead horse too long with all the other fur flying around here.
Lord knows how often I'm clueless about these riddles, especially with all the clues staring me in the face. Don't want to offend anyone unintentionally. I only do that intentionally.

Ah, I see. My apologies then since you were directing that missive at a particular user which is not only allowed, but often encouraged.
I understand the frustration though of coming so close and not seeing the clues, but as you know, a miss is as good as a mile.
