I will be going to the Studios for my first time this coming Monday. What kind of crowds can I expect? Is Monday typically pretty corwded?

My plan of attack is to get there at opening, grab an Express pass for Shrek, ride Mummy, then over to MIB...other than that I am pretty much clueless...I am just trying to get the most crowded attractions out of the way up front. Should back to the Future and then T2 be next. I really want to ride ET as it is one of my fav childhood movies.

Any info on crowds to expect and what order I should get to certain attractions would be helpful. I'm not really interested in live shows or the kiddie stuff such as Jimmy Neutron.

TIA for your help.

Don't think you need the express pass for Shrek since they've opened the 2nd theater, especially on a Monday in April. Do Shrek as you walk in since it's first on the right. Ride the Mummy a few times and get an express pass as you leave. Then you'd high tail it to MIB, ride it a few times, then you can do ET.
Don't ride BTTF, it will make you sick as it's one of those simulators.

Then you'll be near the front of the park and you can take another lap doing the movie attractions.

The second theater for Shrek works like a charm. We were at UO last Thursday through Sunday (4/14 - 4/17). Thursday and Friday we were at the parks at opening but on Saturday we decided to sleep in and we didn't get to the Studios until about noon. Keep in mind that this was a Mardi Gras Saturday. We decided to try Shrek at 3:00 p.m. and were hoping to get into the new theater as we've been in the old one many, many times. The posted wait was 10 minutes but we literally WALKED RIGHT INTO the new theater. I couldn't believe it.

I completely agree with robvia's plan. That's exactly how we do it when we get to the park at opening. If you want to ride Jimmy Neutron (I don't know if you have kids in your party or not), do it right after Shrek.
