Monarch butterfly migration

This is the time, and Cape May is a gathering place. I am stuck being housebound while my foot heals from an operation. Just watched a monarch flutter by as I sit on our porch.

We used to see a lot of butterflies, and caterpillars before, but it is now sort of rare to see a butterfly flying by

I am healing. Walking a bit in the house without a cane. My foot is still swollen, but I do have less pain when I put weight on it. Thank you for asking!
