Moms Panel Results!?

The interviewers did mention to me that they were trying to perhaps cut the training down by a day and send the "Moms" home on the 11th. Did anyone else get that info?

I made it through the interview, had errands after so I'm just now checking back in. I was in a knot for quite awhile afterwards, I'm still not sure what they said or what I said!

A phone interview especially to a panel is like talking to an answering machine, I missed the feedback from a regular conversation. If everyone rambled like I did, I don't know how they'll decide!

I agree that they did say Dec 8-11 (rather than the 12th), but we'll have to wait and see for more details. Wednesday is a LONG TIME AWAY.

I'm going to let myself be in a tizzy for the rest of the evening then I'm going to sleep on it and try to forget about it. It would be nice if they wrapped up their decisions and let us know earlier wouldn't it???

Julie, I stopped working on the round two list when most everyone gave either a yes or no to round 3. There were a few people from the round two list who never came back and said if they were in round 3 or not. I finally just dropped them off the list.

I could go back and look for the last round two list. It is times like this when I really miss the Search on this board!

Yep, you left me off the round 2 list. Gosh, I hope homeboycartel is okay, at one point he said something about being near the fires. Thanks for the list, just thought it would be fun to see what the numbers were.

Maybe this is a board pride thing but I find it AMAZING that almost half of those who made it to the final round of this selection are from this community!

I totally agree with you! My DH was kind of surprised that I was still so into this thing, checking with this thread seeing how the interviews are going, since I didn't make it to round 3, but I told him that just to see so many of the final 26 be DIS'ers is really cool, that it is kind of like a pride thing, almost like school spirit, when your team makes it to the playoffs, even if you aren't on the team, it's still really fun! I'm so proud of all of you and happy for you and I can't wait to hear all about the panel!

I second that. If I still knew some cheers I would say one for the team! Hey, that gives me an idea. Since I didn't win this maybe I should apply for the reality show "How to look like a High School Cheerleader" I could use to get back into shape. UGH!! I opt for the Disney trip instead

There is another positive point to be made about all our lurkers coming out of the lurking closet. Maybe now we can add them to our list of those who were in round 2. This will give us a better estimate of how many of us there were.

I know... Did you read the story by Poohmomof5 a while ago. If you didn't read that, it is post #685. There is still hope!!! It must have been so hard to narrow down the semi-finalists. They may still send more 3rd round acceptance emails. With Disney anything is possible!

Yep, that's too much. You're right we can just wait and maybe one day we will be REALLY surprised to get our e-mail. These guys will do great I'm sure of that. Who knows before long I will want the CM"s job after all I love doing PR work and marketing is my thing ya know!!

Well, I was hanging out it the background for quite a while, so I imagine that at least a few more non-posters are out there.

I find this thread so amazing. In a country of 300 million people, only 26 have this one small thing in common (Moms Panel Round 3-ers) and within a matter of days nearly half of them find each other. And then, despite the fact that this is a competition of sorts, they willingly offer ideas, advice, support, and consolation. Fabulous!

I just remembered that on our last trip to WDW I bought a stash of Hakuna Matata bars (yummy!) for our worry-prone DD. I think mom here needs to steal one, get a good night's sleep (unlike last night), and try to keep busy for the next week.

Very true, anything is possible, especially since many of us feel we had a hard time with the phone interviews. They may still call in the troops for reinforcement, so don't count anything out!
