If your DD is wearing tights and a onesie, do you snap the onesie over the tights or snap the onesie and then pull the tights over?

With my girls, I always snapped the onesie first and then pulled the tight up. I'm watching two little girls and both of their moms snap the onesie over the tights.

Did I do it wrong all of those years?

My "little girl" is 12 now, but when she was a baby, I did tights first and then onesie. It helped keep the tights from sliding down.

Dont know if there is a right and wrong way. I've always been a tights than onesie person, keeps the tights from creeping down

I put the onesie over the tights. It helped to keep the tights up and in place.

Yup, onsie goes over the tights. Think of it as a ballet tights and a leotard.

The onesie (and now leotards) over the tights definitely. I agree with the others; it helps the tights stay in place.

This was I don't have to see DD pull her dress up in public to fix her tights :lmao:

I don't think I ever put tights on dd when she was small enough for a onesie LOL.

If it was truly a Onsie (eg undershirt/garment), I would put it under the tights.
If it was a snap-crotch regular shirt, I would snap it over the tights.

I liked how the snap shirt or undershirt kept the tights up, so over for me.:)

No one has linked to the 'Ladies, tights are not pants' thread? They go under everything but underwear/diapers, they ain't pants!

I can't stand tights... on me or my daughter, lol. :)

But when I put leggings on her, I put them over top of the onesie. I think if I were to put tights on her, I'd probably put them on under the onesie.
