Hi Missy!! Oooh--can't wait to read your TR!! I hope you had a fabulous time!! Yes, Claire is feeling better--however she woke me up twice last night and she NEVER wakes up in the middle of the night! Uggh! So today I'm a zombie!! Being a Disney TA would be the IDEAL job--wouldn't it?! 16 days and counting!! Whoo hoo!!

Ok--I need to vent before I go crazy!! I'm STRESSING OUT about the Disney customs I ordered for the girls! I ordered them from a friend on another forum (a group of moms who have been together since Ally was born). I ordered at the beginning of March to give her plenty of time to complete them by our trip. I ordered 5 outfits for Ally and 4 for Claire--pretty much their outfits for the entire trip. She said she would mail them by April 17th. Then she ran out of ribbon/fabric for 1 of the outfits. I last heard from her last Thursday (April 23rd). She said she would PM me Monday and give me an update and that she was almost done with everything (she was going out of town for the weekend). Well I haven't heard from her yet. This is very unlike her--she has communicated great since I first ordered--and I've gotten things from her before. And ya'll know that I'm very OCD about my WDW planning. I was wanting to make the girls matching bows but was waiting to match the ribbon to the outfits. Anywho--she hasn't logged on to the forum since April 23rd and hasn't picked up my last 3 PMs?! So yesterday I e-mailed the Paypal e-mail she had given me to pay for the outfits AND I messaged her through her Etsy shop. Still nothing! A good friend of mine has her cell # and tried to call her this morning but it went to voicemail after a couple of rings. She left a message but hasn't heard back from her yet. I am just in tears--I have made myself just sick thinking about it. I don't know what else to do!

Oh Becky...I am so sorry you are stressing out over all of that. I don't really have any advice since it sounds like you have done all that you can do up to this point. I would keep calling and leaving messages and emailing expressing your concern. Maybe she got overwhelmed and then went out of town and is now just trying to get them done so that they can officially be "in the mail" when she talks to you/responds to your emails. IDK.

I am sure they will come, and I'm sure your girls are going to look really adorable! Keep us posted.

Oh no, so sorry to hear you're upset, you still have some time, so try and take a deep breath, it doesn't sound like there is much more that you can do right now than wait. So I'm sending you this hug and hope that you hear something soon!!!

oh no! I hope she is okay and that nothing is wrong and she isn't flaking on you. I'm sure it will work out. Obviuosly on the grand scheme of things that can go wrong for a trip this is relatively low BUT it still blows big time. It might be time to think about backups. It doesn't have to be too over the top Disney. It will be so hot that tanktops and shorts will look great.

I am actually going through something similar. I ordered a custom made Minnie outfit and Mickey outfit through ebay. They are soooo cute. It was almost two months ago. The gal flaked and is now saying she has email probs and all of that. I have it in resolution through paypal. Then she wanted me to drop the resolution b/c that was the only way she could print the label. I told her I was born at night but not last night. I even emailed paypal and told them and their reply was that resolution in no way affected the ability to print labels. She knew that once you drop it you cannot do another one. In the meantime her ebay rating has tanked. She said she mailed it last Friday and if it isn't here by Monday I am escalating it to a claim. But the crazy thing is that I don't want my money back. I really want these outfits!

Thanks Sara!! I just received her address and a different e-mail addy from a friend on the forum. I e-mailed her again. I looked up her home phone # using whitepages.com and will try to call that as soon as I finish lunch.

I know it's not that big of a problem in the grand scheme of things--but it's soooo frustrating! I like to dress the girls to the nines as it is--especially for something as special as their very 1st Disney trip!! My friend who had her cell # said she would whip some things together for the girls if need be--I just hope it doesn't come to that.

That really stinks about your outfits!! Why do people do that?! I just don't get it! I hope you get them!!

Well--I think I'll remain positive and show you the clothing we DO have for our trip so far!! The girls will be wearing Cinderella dresses to Ally's BBB appointment and breakfast at CRT on May 18th. I'm surprising Ally with a new Cinderella dress (she has others that were really cheap and that are torn--I got this one on clearance at the Disney Store).

Claire's (this was Ally's Halloween costume when she was Claire's age)

Here are the giraffe dresses I bought last year at Baby GAP for our day at the Animal Kingdom on May 19th (I do plan WAY in advance--don't I?). Ally will wear her Pocahontas clippie with it.

The girls will wear Belle dresses to the Princess Akershus Storybook Breakfast on May 20th.

Ally's (I got hers for $9.99 on clearance at the Disney Store)

Claire's (I ordered this from Mrs. B on Ebay to "surprise" Claire--not sure how surprised a 19 month old will be)

Here is the Ariel bathing suit I got for Ally at the Disney store (got her the matching towel, too)

And matching Tinkerbell bathing suits (I found Ally's at a consignment sale and my friend just happened to have one in Claire's size that she's letting her borrow for the trip)

And last but not least, shirts I bought for myself for our trip!!

I also bought this shirt in a Small--but it seems to run big and long so I might have to exchange it for an Extra Small. (I haven't worn an extra small since before kids so the sizing must be off)

I don't have a clue as to what Brent will be wearing. He's not really into anything with characters on it unless it's Star Wars related!!
