**Mommy and Ayden do Disney**take two**

Great trip report! Sounds like you had a blast and I can't wait to read more! What is the hidden mickey book you have. I've looked for one but there are several and I'm not sure which one to get. I'm obsessed with them, too!:cool1:

This is the book that I kept in our backpack MaiynaMouse. I love it!

Thank you Jennifer03 for the sweet comment.

So we closed the park down on our first night. Park didn't open until 10 on Monday but our PS for Plaza Inn was at 9:30. I was told when I made the PS that there would be a sign out at the gate letting us know where to be for the breakfast. So that didn't appear until closer to 9:40 but we asked around and found out what line we were to be in. It was pretty unorganized. THe line grew quickly at gate 5. We were told we'd be lead back to the Plaza inn for the Minnie and Friends breakfast. Then we see the other gates open and the crowds just swarm inside on Main Street. Our gate finally opens and we are told to stand at the side while they check everyone in. Now it's 9:45. Finally about 5 minutes later we're told to follow this little old lady. Seriously through the crowds on Main street they expected us all to stick together???? :confused3 Somehow we made it...but I know many in the group got lost along the way. She lead us through the shops on the left side of Main Street and through the Photo shop on the corner. Within minutes they had the rope drop. Later in the week we did see that people for the breakfast were let in before the crowd....what a great idea!! :thumbsup2 DUH!

I'm SOOOOOOOOOO glad we were in the first group to be seated. The lines grew quickly for the omelettes. I actually never got one but my DBF Chris did. Food was quite tasty! The oj ....wonderful! How weird is that to rave about the orange juice?? But it was probably some of the best OJ I've had. But then again everything fruit wise tastes better at DLR. There were some muffins too that were really good.....wish I could remember what kind they were.

Here's some of our half eaten breakfast....oh the taters were great too!

Last year we did Goofy's Kitchen...yes Goofy did some fun entertainment....but I liked Plaza Inn MUCH better! The interaction with the characters was so much nicer. They spent much more time at each table with the kids. We saw the Fairy Godmother, Tigger, Eyeore, Pooh, Captain Hook, Chip and Dale and of course Minnie. My son got in a balloon fight with Tigger...that tigger I tell ya what a troublemaker! :lmao: He kept bopping my son on the head with a balloon and finally my son bopped him back. Then it started!!! They were just all over each other. It was really funny! Tigger kept leaning over Ayden's head and making such a funny noise like he was kissing his head? Ok maybe it was a kiss? Anyway....then he walked over to CHris and started beating him with the balloon. I have just never seen a Tigger so "interactive" with people before.
So Plaza Inn gets a big :thumbsup2 from me! We had a lot of fun and will definitely go back.

Quick story....last year before going to DLR my son watched the Sing Along Song video over and over. He always loved seeing the video where Minnie hugs the little boy. Last year he kept saying he just wanted to hug Minne when we went to DIsneyland. Well he got that hug.....BUT we missed getting a picture of it. I was so sad....anyway I'd say the picture this year made up for it. She hugged him lots of times but the picture I'm posting here is my favorite!

We were excited to get out in the park since it was our first FULL day!! We went to Toontown....more to come on that later :)

I love all the pics! You have me sold on this character breakfast!

I love the pic of Ayden with Dale and all you can see is teeny bit of Ayden's face. :rotfl: Too cute!

What a great smile Ayden has. :goodvibes He looks like he is having the best time ever.

I went to the breakfast that day also and I agree it was very unorganized. I had no clue where to meet at, luckily I saw that CM leading the group and asked someone if that was for Minnie's Breakfast. Funny thing, I see my sister's pink ear hat in two of your pictures :rotfl: .

Wow, awesome pics from Minnie's Breakfast! I think you've talked me into trying it . . . and I HATE character meals (well, with the exception of Storyteller's, but we don't do that one for the characters. It's all about the banana stuffed french toast, Baby!);)

I normally can't stand the thought of wasting valuable early morning park time on a character meal, but all those pics with the characters are just darling, and it sounds like the food was awesome, too! And, hey, if you are actually seated and eating before the park opens, I might be willing to give it a shot. :thumbsup2

How funny! Ya know when I was reading your TR the other day I told my bf how funny it would be to see one of us in your pictures since I saw you were there at the same time. :lmao:

I definitely say give it a try! The interaction with the characters is so much better than standing in line for 10 minutes only to get 30 seconds next to them for a quick picture. They really take their time in the restaurant. At least they did at Plaza Inn. Goofy's Kitchen they just moved right along. It was also a pain being that far from the park and not even getting into the park until after 10 then. It was much nicer being in the park already and leaving the breakfast and being in Toontown 10 minutes later. :)

What a nice switcharoo though DM...usually you're the one persuading me into things! The hotel, the great DEP, RDCT, and Fantasmic accomplishment! It's peer pressure!

Your pictures from Minnie's look great, I have plans to eat there on Sunday morning, so can't wait. It looks like you all had a great time so far, can't wait to read more. :goodvibes

Thanks everyone for reading. Been having some health issues going on around here but I'll be back to posting more of my trip report as soon as I can. :)

Great TR so far! You also have me totally convinced to do Minnies. :thumbsup2 It looks like a great time! Hope you all are feeling better soon! Can't wait to hear more!

Sorry there's been a delay in my TR. Lots going on at home healthwise.

Anyway....on with the show....

Monday after breakfast at Plaza Inn we decided to head to ToonTown before it got too warm. Highly suggest this since there's not much shade there. Last year we didn't spend much time there because it was so hot due to waiting so late in the day.
I can't do the spinning kind of rides so Chris took Ayden on Roger Rabbit...he came out giggling so I guess that meant he liked it.
We played around Toontown....opening, pulling and pushing all the fun things there.
Ayden still didn't like the door you try to open that makes the electrical noise...he hated that last year too. :lmao:

We ran into Goofy, Minnie and went to see Mickey in his house. Next year I will defitnitely be sure to get pics with Mickey outside of his "movie barn" since the pictures dont' seem to come out that bright in his barn. Just my opinion. And the darn red eye...had that last year too :(

Of course we went through Minnies house too....her house is so much more interactive than Mickeys.

Ayden was hesitant to ride the Gadget Go Coaster. Funny because he loves the Matterhorn. I think it's because when you actually see the Matterhorn it's not going that fast...as for the Gadget Go Coaster...that little thing does get going. Anyway...he rode and LOVED it..so we did it again!
We found a hidden Mickey while in line...oh and can you find us??
