"Mom, why does the Magical Bus have to be the happiest and the saddest bus?"NEW 8/24!

Hi Beth!

Great wrap-up! And glad you are planning another trip already, even if it is a few years off...still fun to think about going back and what you want to see and do there.

Love those Disney buses! Going to have to find those - my boys will love them!

LOVE the haircut! The last couple years I go through phases of growing it and cutting it off, so I like it when I see others go shorter too - super cute and so much easier. Right now mine is mid-cut - I usually cut it short in spring and keep it short over summer, and let if grow in fall and winter. I know it'll start driving me crazy soon though - starting to feel "too long" already! Right now I wish it was a little longer so I could get a ponytail in - so hot and humid our trip I wish I could just pull it back!

Does Cory like it??

Karen

Great ending to your TR! :thumbsup2

Your new haircut is super cute!!

I  that shadow box! I did not see it while we were there.

Helen's purse is so adorable!

Glad to hear that Gabe enjoyed 'practice' Kindergarten! Thats pretty cool that your school district does that! I am sure it helps alot for that big first day!

Thanks for your great trip report! It was so much fun reading about your family and getting to relive your magic!

Hey Beth! sorry it took me this long to finally sit down and catch up with your TR! Ashton was sitting quietly playing his Leapster and watching UP! so what better time to dis (before everyone gets home). Took a little bit to find where I had left off...

your family has some very beautiful shots and wonderful memories from this magical trip! I love all this photos with the kiddos and Helen's first visit shots. I really loved the Visa Meet photos! how fun the back drop is awesome!
I am so happy to read about you and Corey's last night at Epcot; what a magical way to end your trip.

I am sorry to hear about the commotion with the flights; but, sounds like you guys hung in there and had a sad but safe trip home.

I really enjoyed reading your favs list on your final comments thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. I hope you guys are able to work up a trip soon but every three years is a great time frame (we always did 5 --I would love to to an annual trip, also a different holiday each time)...

great and fun pictures of Helen and Gabe playing Disney...reminded me I want to pull out the Tink, and Peter Pan costumes for Ashton and Chloe to play with.

Thank you for sharing! your family magic and memories!!! :mickeyjum
 Connie
Oh! BTW...love the new hair cut...very pretty! :flower3:

Wonderful TR!!!! It has really made me even more excited for my family's trip. :goodvibes Your hair cut is adorable!!

I love your haircut!! It's so cute!! :goodvibes

Great trip recap... :thumbsup2

I highly recommend a fall trip. We visited that same long weekend in October in 2007 when the boys were 4 & almost 7 and had a blast. It's a fun time to be there with all of the fall decorations & MNSSHP.
Thanks Amy, I needed a change with my hair!! It feels good!! It seems like our trips came and went so quickly!! I can't wait to hear about your fall adventure and find out some fun things to do at that time of year!! Glad to hear the ages and time of year worked out well for you!! I am also trying to sell Cory on possibly DVC, we'll see...!! Thanks for reading along!!!

Great finish to the TR! I love WDW in the fall, I was there end Oct/early Nov in 2004 and it was really nice. Warm but not ungodly hot, and the crowds weren't too bad either.

Love the new Haircut, too BTW!
Thank you so so much Danielle! It always feels great to make a change, even if it's just a haircut!! Yeah! Another vote for fall! That's just the kind of weather I want and crowds too. I don't mind it a little bit crowded!! Thank you so much for following along!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the great trip report! Love the hair cut!
Thank you so much for reading along!! It was fun to write and I am glad you thought it was great!! :goodvibes Thanks for the nice comment about my haircut too!!:goodvibes

So great following along with you through the planning stages and then the trip! Great souvenirs! I love how you put together the shadow box. It came out great! And Helen's purse is too cute!! I also love how you put as her favorite food ANYTHING!! :lmao: The same with my niece. She'll eat pretty much anything she can get her hands on!

Great haircut! I keep saying I'll get mine shorter, but alas I never do. If it keeps getting caught in the car door, I'll be reconsidering that reaaaallly quickly!
Thanks Alicia!! It's so fun planning with others and keeping tabs on their trips!! I love Helen's purse too, I wish they made them bigger, I might have gotten one!:rotfl: Those toddlers will eat just about anything! I wish once they get to be Gabe's age and older they would have those same habits!! Yeah, I finally just made an appointment and did it! It feels so good with it gone, I feel like I get to "start over" with it. I will probably keep it short for 6 months or so, then I get the itch to grow it out!! It's crazy!!:scared1:
Great trip recap!

I love the collage photo frame...it's gorgeous.

And i think your haircut looks awesome!:goodvibes
Thank you so much for reading along!!! I didn't get the collage frame until after we got home, I got it from disneystore.com. I had seen it in the parks but was worried about how to get it home on the plane. When I saw it online I bought it right away!! I can't wait to get pictures in it and get it up on the wall!! Have a magical first trip to WDW next week too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:wizard::wizard:
Enjoyed the trip report and your hair is adorable. We don't go every year either, so we spend a lot of time thinking about it! Thanks for sharing your fun with us.
Thank you so much for reading along with my report! We are always saying, "well, on our next trip we will do..." It's fun to dream! :cloud9: I had a lot of fun sharing our adventure!! Thanks for your nice comment about my hair too!! :)

Thanks Karen! Sounds like you are in a similar hair cutting pattern as me!! I know you are in WDW right now but thanks for reading along with me!! I hope you find those buses, Gabe plays with them all the time, same with the ride vehicles I found for him on ebay!! It's always fun to plan the next trip, you will see once you get back from this trip how much you think of the next one!!!! Yes, Cory likes it, he says he likes it which ever way I wear it, how diplomatic!! :rotfl:

Thanks Heather!! I love the shadow box too! I think I filled it the day after we got back! I was excited to put it up!! I love that little purse too! It's just right for her, she LOVES purses and girly stuff!! "Practice" Kindergarten was great, I can't believe we are now to that stage of going to school. We are slowly moving out of the "home with mom" stage! I still have Helen to hang with for a couple more years, she won't start preschool until Fall of 2011! :goodvibes
Thanks for your great trip report! It was so much fun reading about your family and getting to relive your magic!

Thank you so much for reading my TR! It's wonderful to know that others enjoy reading it! I love reading TR's so much and I get so many ideas from them, I hope I was able to help some others out too!! :goodvibes It was a magical time!:wizard:

Cory and I had a wonderful last night at Epcot, great way to end the night and the trip!! The airport wasn't too bad, just wish things would have not gotten pushed back! We made lots of memories, and it was a magical vacation!!! Thanks for reading along!!!! Glad I was able to catch up on your report too!! :goodvibes

Thank you so much! When we went she had just turned 2 two weeks before. She did really well. She napped every day, sometimes in the stroller or on us, but most days we went back to the room for a break. That was nice for all of us to kind of regroup for the afternoon and evening. It was a lot of fun! She liked the characters but not until about half way through the trip. I think the character breakfast helped to ease her into them a bit more! It was a great time, if you have any other questions just let me know! Thanks for reading!!:goodvibes

Beth - Thanks again for sharing your trip with all of us. Your haircut looks great. I love the Disney shadowbox. It's the perfect place to display some of the excellent Photopass shots you got. :)

Hope you're enjoying this amazing Twins season!

We go to Sesame Place about every other week or so and Adam does great with the characters there (it took a few trips) so we are hoping now that he is used to Elmo, big bird (who is HUGE!) he will warm up to Mickey and the gang right away. One can dream he will run right into Mickey's arms, can't I!!?!?

Thank you so much for reading along!! I like the shadowbox too! Those two pics are the only ones I have so far, I haven't printed out any trip pics yet! Those were our free Visa pic and our Safari breakfast pic! I have a lot to do!
And YES we are enjoying the Twins!!!!!!!! That 11-0 loss to the White Sox was not fun but the win last night was awesome!! I hope we see a World Series this year!!:thumbsup2

Sounds like he will LOVE the characters! We took Gabe when he had just turned two and he loved every second of the trip! We were able to just go with the flow when it was just him, it was really nice and enjoyable! The Disney characters do a MARVELOUS job with the young ones, Gabe adored the Princesses and I have some sweet pics of him with them! Helen too, she LOVED the face characters and would "run to them" just how I wished!! :wizard:

I finally remembered another important souvenir! During the trip Gabe kept wanting two packages of ride vehicles. They seemed extremely expensive to me and we kept telling him maybe next trip. He was VERY sad that we had said no. After we got home, I jumped on ebay. There was a seller selling not only 8 ride vehicles but a monorail and 3 Disney buses. Cory and I bid and in the end won! For the price of one and half ride vehicle packs, we got both packs and those extras!! Gabe has to share with Helen, but he was jumping off the walls with excitement when they came in the mail!! Here's the toys (minus the other buses):

They get played with VERY often!! Tons of fun for the kids AND we got them for a steal!!!:goodvibes:goodvibes

Okay, I call this Trip Report over! I will have to live vicariously through everyone else until our next Disney adventure!!!!!!!!

Beth, those are SO cool!! Ebay's so great. I'm glad Gabe got the toys he wanted, it's always so nice to be able to give kids what they really want for a good price. So sad your TR is coming to its end, I loved every minute of it.

P.S. Love the hair cut!!

Awww that's awesome news that you were able to get him his toys after all, especially at a fraction of the cost.

I'm sad to see your TR come to an end and i've enjoyed every minute of it:goodvibes

Thanks Joanne!! Finding those toys on Ebay seemed like a great compromise to me! I wanted to get them for him so badly, but the price seemed just way too high! Ebay saved the day!! Thanks for reading along with me!!!:goodvibes

Just finished reading my first complete trip report! (The rest are still in progress.)

Really enjoyed reading along, your children are gorgeous and I am sad it is finished.

I've just realised you said your DD turned 2 a couple weeks before you left - my DD will turn 2 three weeks before we leave so it is good to read there will be plenty for her to do.

Hope you are able to get back in 2012 or not long after :)

Lisa

BTW, really like your hair.
