Mom passed away this morning

I just wanted to let you know that my mom passed away at 7:50 this morning. She was with the nurse and I had gone upstairs around 5:00 just to lie down for a while and then came down around 7:30. Michael came down shortly after that, and we were sitting near her watching her, which is when she stopped breathing. I think she was waiting for us.

I told her that we all loved her and it was ok to go.

I'm so sorry to hear that she is gone but please know she is at peace and pain free now. May the wonderful memories of your lives together help you get through the days, weeks and months ahead.

My own mother has been gone for 10 years now and there isn't a day goes by that I don't think of her or "talk" to her. I know the pain is still fresh for you but know that it will get easier.

My mom has been gone ten years this year also and I think about her every day. The pain will subside, you will never forget her though. She will always be with you.

I don't know what to say to you other than I'm sorry, and I'm thinking of you. I don't even know you but your story really touched me, and I feel so sad for you. She is at peace & now will begin her turn watching over you & your family. Everyone grieves in their own way so just let go & do what you need to do. My heart goes out to you and your family. I know it's hard to loose your mom. It good to know that you were with her when she passed I am sure she was waiting for you. I'm very sorry you lost your mother. But I am so glad you were able to give her last days a sense of security and dignity. I'm glad she is out of pain now and was able to pass peacefully at home. You did everything you could to help her. Now try to get some rest. Grief takes time.

Oh Mary... I am so sorry.... I am leaving later on this morning, but came on one last time to check here before I finish packing and get on that plane. I am so glad she was with you, your husband and her grandchildren. It is so hard to even put words here this morning as I am so sad for you all....but know in your heart that you did all the right things for her and that she is at peace and has no more pain.

I'm so very sorry. I lost my mom almost 5 years ago, and I still miss her every day. I'm glad you got to say goodby..not that it helps much but it will be a comfort down the road. My deepest sympathies to you.
