Great updates!! I'm glad you were feeling better!! I can't wait to do KTTK in March! I missed it last trip because my boys were sick, DH took his father in place. I would have lied to the guys at PhilHarMagic too! Seems a little weird that they would ask were the rest of your party was!!

Yep, Sure do remember Grey Wolf, every Friday during lent, the line would be down the street. Also Midtown Tavern pierogis, there is still the tavern at Midtown (Snow/Broadview shopping center) but it has changed names a few times.

I'm all for being friendly with strangers but 2 men asking me where the rest of my party is even in Disney kinda creeps me out. So you did the right thing! Of course I watch way too much CSI!

That KTTK tour sounds great, that's something DH and will have to do when we go without the kids.

I really don't think they ment anything by it.... prior to talking to people here, I don't think I'd have thought about anyone being there alone It was obvious that I was by myself in that line, though, because at the time no one was behind me

I absolutely adore the picture from Walt's perspective. I am going to have to do that next time I am down there. I really need to start listing things by the computer so I don't forget them all!

I never even thought about going to AK for Evening EMH but it does sound wonderful.

Better start making new lists LL!!! I saw a similar pic from Walts view before, which is why I tried it. Definately try to hit AK after dark.... it would be very romantical too

I think they were suprised to see someone (esp a female) alone, but my inner female self defense shields went up pretty fast Being approached because of appearing alone, and my response, was something that I worried a bit about before I left... and I had thought up a couple responses. So not only did I lie.... it was a PLANNED lie!!!

I'm thinking Backstage safari will be my next grown up one. I'm also thinking of the Family Magic tour with my girls and nephews next year. Diamond had a review of FMT, it sounded like a blast!

Fred told us about a couple Hidden Mickey's we could look for too . We entered thru the chicken door.... which is as creepy as the drawing room! We rode the ride without our headsets turned on. I did find one of the hidden mickey's, but not the other one Overall... the tour is DEFINATELY worth the $50 I spent (w/ AP discount)Paula

Paula - I only found one hidden mickey, too! Now I don't feel so challenged. I've ridden HSM a few times since I took the tour and all I can find is one hidden Mickey! They need to slow that ride down so I have more time to sight see! I agree that the tour was money well spent!

: I'll tell you what... if you EVER have the chance to ride EE in the dark...DO IT!! WOW it is a completely different experience and oh so much fun!!
After Dinosaur I went back and rode EE again... amazing!! I snapped this amazing picture over Everest along the way

I am so jealous. I never get to do nighttime EMH at AK. My timing is always off. I will miss it again in December, but have to do it next summer. I am dying to ride EE at night! Your day sounded awesome!

That snowglobe you found is perfect! What a fabulous present. I wish I had seen it while I was there but I stayed far away from the Emporium. Your tour sounded like fun too. I always think about trying one, but I never do. Maybe next year? Your trip report is making my list for next october longer and longer Oh, and that photo of Everest at night? The dining room one was easy! The one in the graveyard... yeah I rode it multiple times after the tour.... never found it!! One time the ride even stopped while I was in the graveyard... but not in the right spot That is probably what it's gonna take for me to spot that one... getting stuck in the ride there

I've done the KTTK, and the Around the World on a Segway (twice). I'm contemplating the 3 park tour, but not sure if I want to spend that much money.

If I don't do that one I'm torn. I'd like to try the train tour, the holiday tour and the Ft. Wilderness Segway tour. Decisions, decisions!

Paris for DD's 13th birthday sounds awesome!! I've been eyeing the ABD tours too but you're right they are pricey! Although it sounds like they are well worth it.

I took your advice and bought the wrist band gift card. Great tip! It was very handy!!

Sorry you didn't like the plum wine. I had the same experience w/ another adult beverage I'd been coveting.

KTTK tour sounds great. I want to do that one and the Epcot one.

My next childless trip I think the Ft Wilderness Segway would be fun Hopefully there would be less witnesses present there than Epcot to see me make a dork of myself

Welcome momtoccc!! I'm having so much fun with this TR. My only problem is I'm anxious to start new PTR(s) but I have to wait! I read the "bio-break" term on another TR a while back....and have been using it in everyday life ever since, too cute

Thanks! I was really happy about my pics this trip... but I made the mistake of going back over to the photog threads.... yeah I stink compared to them!! I have learned a bit from browsing over there, but I still have a long way to go...

Apparently CHH is MK's best kept secret! I always thought it was a TS, until we went in Feb. There's an upstairs dining room too.... a lot of people don't know that. Fred said you can usually find an upstairs seat almost anytime, no matter how busy the parks are... and the food was great!

Which Epcot tour?? The segway?? They used to have a WS'secrets' type tour, but it was discontinued I really wanted to do that. They still have a Futureworld "secrets" tour...but that doesn't sound as interesting to me.

I thought 5 days was long enough for a solo trip... just too short for my TR The plan has flexibility as to the trip length.... what sounds good??? I'm thinking 5-6 nights.... not sure yet. I'm sorta hoping that it won't be a solo
