I was thinking of taking my daughter for "My first manicure or pedicure" at th Grand Floridan - what kind of father son adventures are available at WDW?

my dh and my ds love going to the game room together its not that adventerous but they love it and it gives them some quality time together! :wave2:

Is there a game room close to the spa area?

I was thinking of doing that and then all of us going to the afternoon tea or - doing that and then letting the kids go to the wonderland tea party.

Thanks for your quick response sheri!

i havent stayed at the gf so i am not sure exactly where the game room is but i am sure you wont have a problem finding each other after you manicures. hopefully someone else can answer this for you. have fun! :wave2:

HI,
my girls and I wanted to spend an entire day at Typhoon Lagoon, while our "guys" wanted to do sports stuff. So they spent a half a day at Wide World of Sports. It was awesome! :cheer2:

I agree with renting the water mice. DH and DS love those! They can be rented at the GF and many of the other resorts.

The game room is on the opposite end of the GF but it's still close enough to walk to without a problem. It's also kind of small. Your DH and DS might want to take the monorail over to the Contemporary and play in that game room which is much larger.

Great ideas - will the watermice fit both my son and husband together. My son is too young to be on the water by himself?

Helen

Does anyone know how much the water mice cost to rent and how long the rental time are for 30 min? 1 hr?

Thx
Helen

the water mice will definitely fit one adult/one child... i think they are meant to fit two adults...

if i remember correctly they were rented by the 1/2 hour and i do not recall the cost (but i am sure someone does!) :)

How about mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens or Winter-summerland? We have tried both and loved it. Or a day at Disney Quest? Two great "guy" activities. My son loved them both. Just throwing out ideas.

The water mice are about $20 per 1/2 hr. You also need to show a valid drivers license so make sure DH brings his along. (We sometimes leave stuff like that in the safe in the room if we won't be needing it during the day.)
