When we go down in June, my Mom will be with us and dh and I thought this would be a nice opportunity to have a nice dinner ALONE! Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Place we've enjoyed that are a bit more grown-up (but it's still WDW, you know!):

Tutto Italia
Flying Fish
Artist Point

Similar places I'm hoping to try:

Jiko
Yachtsman (haven't been there in 12+ years)

I didn't really enjoy Narcoossee's that much although others rave about it -- I thought it was okay. And Le Cellier was good, but still overhyped.

PS - enjoy your trip - we just did a long BCV trip over Christmas - we loved BCV! (and I will be at the Poly during some of your dates in June!)

We enjoyed a wonderful romantic meal at the Yachtsmans last month. We had been before with the children and it was good. So we thought we would try it on our own while the boys went to the Neverland Club. Everything was perfect. DH had the lamb which he said was out of this world. I am a veggie and I found the veggie food to be brilliant here, full of flavour.:thumbsup2
The service was excellent, I recommend Oscar, he was great. Our meal was timed perfectly, everything was delicious and the restaurant had a more adult feel to the California Grill(my favourite onsite).
We will be having another adult meal here in Aug and we are also hoping to try either Narcoossees or Citricos too.

Enjoy your evening.:lovestruc

If you want to do something REALLY special, romantic and grown up, then definitely do Victoria and Albert's. It is more than a meal, it is an experience. And well worth the extra money you'll spend. Everytime I go there, which is up to 4 now, it gets more and more memorable!!

We love Jiko at the AKL and find it to be quiter than most WDW restaurants. You will still see children there, but not too many.
It is a beautiful restaurant with warm friendly servers and wonderful food and an excellent wine list.
The AKL is also beautiful. Time your meal so that you arrive in time to spend a little time overlooking the savannah before dark. It is wonderful
Have a great trip

We ate at the Wave at CR on our night out. Because it's new, most people haven't heard terribly much about it, but I LOVED the lamb shank with lentils, and DH thought his steak was great. The desserts were lovely, too. We got to order smoothies to drink on the DDP there, too!

If you are not paying with dining plan credits, I would suggest V&A, Bistro de Paris or bluezoo. All 3 are definitely more adult for that nice adult only dinner.
