Mom and Dad's Dream Trip-34 Yrs in Making-Jun08 SOUVIE PICS PG 51 NEXT TRIP!!???!!!!?

First of all, I must apologize for the delay--one day late!!! AAHHHH!!!! Yesterday was a RIDICULOUSLY busy day for us--very unforeseen, so I was unable to DIS all day, and then I fell asleep around 9pm last night waiting for Tom to finish using the computer!!! I guess I am still trying to catch up from the trip!!!

BUT GUESS WHAT?!?!?!? TODAY IS THE DAY!! TODAY IS THE DAY!! THE TR BEGINS!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: AND HERE WE GO!!!!!!!

"HEIGH HO, HEIGH HO!! IT'S OFF TO MICKEY'S WE GO!
(WHISTLE, WHISTLE, WHISTLE, WHISTLE, WHISTLE)
HEIGH HO, HEIGH HO!! WITH SEVEN SOMEWHAT NEWBIES IN TOW!
(WHISTLE, WHISTLE, WHISTLE, WHISTLE, WHISTLE)
HEIGH HO, HEIGH HO, HEIGH HO!!"

It all started on a beautiful and HOT Friday morning--June 6, 2008. It would turn out to be a very BUSY Friday for those in our vehicle--Tom, Kristi, Megan, and Myself! For those in Mike's vehicle--Mike, Mom, Dad, Conner, Josh, and Maddie--the day was pretty predictable. They left around 7:30am due South to DISNEY!!! I will let Mike fill us all in on the details of their day and their drive!! Stay tuned for that!!!

So back to my day!! We all got up around the same time at our household--7am--when Tom's alarm went off for him to get going to work. YES--Tom HAD to go into work that day. He is a Senior Manager in the accounting department at Cincinnati Bell--our area's BIG telephone and wireless provider. Friday happened to be "Day 5" in their normal monthly close agenda. Due to his position in the company, he HAS to be at the close meetings every month and for the whole close process each month, and also for the 4-month long yearly close process from Jan-April. Since this close had gone pretty smoothly, he was hoping that the 10am meeting would go quickly and uneventful, and then he would be able to be home and depart by noon or 1pm. Those were really good intentions-------that unfortunately did not happen!!!!! More on that in a little bit!! :(

Okay, back to my day!!!! Megan and I were too excited for words when we got up that morning--and the enthusiasm barely waned from that point on! We both got going early with showers and a bath for her and then got dressed and ready for the trip!!! I had a last check that I wanted to do for all the suitcases to make sure everything was in them that needed to be, but I also had a small list of things I needed to do before we left---so which did I do first?

THE TO DO LIST!!!! I was just about to head out the door to run my errands when the phone rang--did I stop to answer it????????? Of course I DID!!!!! And I am glad I actually stopped to do so because it was Kristi!!! She said she was done much earlier than she thought with packing and getting ready to go, so she was wondering if she could go ahead and come over-------I OBVIOUSLY said YES!!!!!! So, we postponed our errands for a few more minutes as we waited for Kristi to arrive. Once she got there---we LEFT finally!!! YEAH!!!

Okay, so my to do list was simple (or so I thought): 1. Go to the bank and cash my check and get the other funds we needed for the trip 2. Go to the car wash and have the van washed and vacuumed out 3. Get back and do my double check on the suitcases 4. Load up the van!!! 5. LEAVE ASAP!!!

Now I will admit, since the day was here, my adrenaline was pumping!!! I think maybe at times a little TOO much!!! I was quickly becoming irritated with every "slow" and "obnoxious" driver that was "getting in my way!!!" Didn't everyone in the town know to get out of my way because I had big places to go to----ahem DISNEY WORLD?!?!?!?!? I know I must have been a little impatient driving up to the bank, because I caught myself several times getting frustrated with drivers and red lights, and that normally NEVER happens. I think Kristi picked up on it too because she kept laughing about it! We did eventually get there---WHEW!!! It felt like it took days, but I'm sure it was only about 15-20 minutes!!! I had a personal check from a girlfriend of mine whose baby I watch every once in awhile that I needed to cash, and I was also supposed to withdraw another chunk of change out of one of our accounts to take with us on our journey. Now, I should probably tell you that my mother-in-law works at this bank, so they all know me in there really well of course. So I drove up to the window--didn't want to go in because I would never get out of there. My favorite teller Stephanie came over and I told her what I needed to do. She took the check, went over to the computer, got Megan her favorite kind of lollypop, and then sent my money back to me. I said bye, and started to pull away. THEN, I noticed that the envelope surely didn't feel as full as it should have---so I double checked it, and sure enough, she was missing the money that I asked her to take out of our account--she just gave me the cash from the check. UGH!! I had to drive around and start all over again!! I wasn't mad at her, it was an honest mistake, I just wanted to go, Go, GO!!! She knew as soon as I pulled up what she forgot to do, corrected the situation, and I was back on my way again----or so I thought!!! As we started to pull out of the bank lot, guess who just happened to PULL IN?!???!?!??!?!?! I know you all know the answer---------THAT'S RIGHT!!!! My MOTHER-IN-LAW!!!! And OF COURSE, she saw us and waved to me to turn around and come back! DOUBLE UGH!!! I am usually a much more patient person, but I really just wanted to GO!!! So, I of course turned around like any other good daughter-in-law would, and drove back into the parking lot so she could come over to see us. She came over to give Megan hugs and kisses good bye again (we had just seen her the night before so she could do that) and then she wanted to talk to me about a few things. I feel bad now because I probably was not that talkative--maybe even a little short with her--but I just wanted to go. I usually am never that impatient, but my mind was clouded and befuddled with thoughts about leaving for WDW, so I hope that makes my behavior at least a little more forgiveable! We finally said all our good byes, and then we finally did leave the bank!!! YEAH!

Our next stop was the car wash--and YES--it seemed like forever again in traffic trying to get there. Once we got there, we had to reassure Megan again that the van would be coming out---it is one of those that they have you leave your vehicle and it goes through the wash on its' own. So she was a little upset. That too seemed to take forever, but it was finally done, and looked great!!! OKAY, that just left getting back to the house, running through my check list, and loading it up---things I could control the pace of!! YES! So we hightailed it back, and Kristi was great at entertaining Megan while I went through my checklist--CHECK, CHECK, CHECK--and while I loaded up the car. Everything went in its' pre-designated place JUST GREAT!! I was such a happy little packer/organizer. Now, we were just missing one thing--TOMMY!!! I was trying not to worry too much--I promised him that I wouldn't call him knowing that might delay him even more, but I will admit, I was worried!! I know it had to be past 2pm, and I was longing to be out on the open road! Since we had everything done--even had Tom's driving clothes laid out, we all just chilled out in my family room. Kristi fell asleep, Megan tried but couldn't, and I just kept daydreaming about the trip to come!

We waited, and waited, and waited!!!! I worried, and worried, and WORRIED!!!! And I finally got his call around 3:45pm. He was walking down to his car and would be heading home FINALLY!!! Since it was just before rush hour, he didn't think it would take him that long to get back home from Cincy. We all started to jump up and down---Megan got on the phone to talk to him, and when he said he was on his way home, she started squealing so loudly and at such a high decibel, I am sure the neighborhood dogs were going crazy!!! "YES, WE ARE GOING TO MICKEY'S HOUSE!!!" were the words that rang from her lips-------for the next 15-20minutes until he got home!! We were MUCH too excited!!! There was much shouting and a LOT of this :hyper:  :yay: :dance3: going on by all three of us! It was much later than we wanted, but hey, we would get there soon and we all decided we just couldn't worry about the lateness of the day anymore! (In case you were wondering, Tom had had a HORRIBLE day at work--things fell apart and then some! One of his co-workers that had just left the company, left her work in complete disarray!! He was beyond stressed out when he got home, but knew he was going on vaca, so I think that helped him greatly!) So he got home, joined in on the dancing, and quickly got changed. He ran around the house checking all the things he usually checks before we leave--locking doors, window, turning up the A/C, turning off the water, etc.--and realized we were ready to roll! We all decided we would grab McD's on the way out to the expressway, and loaded up the Family Truckster!! I believe we rolled out the driveway at 4:43--again, headed due south to MICKEY'S HOUSE!!! We ran through our local McD's, grabbed dinner to go, and hit the road. Tom even restarted his IPOD shuffle for the beginning of the trip! OFF we went! We looked a little like this:

274-2.jpg

Now is that a happy face or what?!?!?!?!?!?

273-1.jpg

Our own Lightning McQueen!! YES--he may have been driving a mini-van, but he was driving it like a lightning fast racecar!!!

272-1.jpg

Why look---it is Sleeping Beauty!!!!! Boy would she kill me if she knew this picture was on here!!! SSHHH!!!! No one tell her okay?!?!?!? Kristi suffers from what I call "Car Coma." It is physically impossible for her to stay awake during car rides. The hum of the road must lull her to sleep. I think she slept through 95% of the road trip--NO LIE!!!! Megan's infamous line about this: "Is Kwissy sleeping AGAIN!?!?!?" :rotfl:

We were pretty lucky traffic-wise on Friday night--the only slow spot we hit was near a little construction around Lexington, but it didn't slow us down much. Since we got started so late and Tom had to work all day, I knew we wouldn't be driving straight through like normal. He has to be driving, or he gets car sick. But I didn't know just how long we would go--would we just try to get out of KY? Would we shoot for TN? What about setting our sights on the great ATL!?!?!?!

What do you think????????????????

Well, since he had a VERY heavy foot that night and traffic was sailing smoothly---we made it all the way to Morrow, Georgia which is a little south of ATLANTA!!! And we made it there in 6 and half hours! We were VERY pleased! We stopped in Morrow at a Best Western right off the expressway. Poor Tom was too pooped to go any further--it was going on midnight by the time we checked in and got settled. We all crashed relatively quickly. We were happy because we knew we were a little more than half way there!!! We were hoping to get all the way there originally, but after his horrible day at work, we were just happy to be as far as we were!!!

So, what would be in store for us for Day 2? When would we leave GA, and when would we get to Mickey's House? Would we be so lucky with traffic on Day 2? Could that flash of a new white Caravan actually have been a DISER???? IF we get to Mickey's House, what on earth would we do?!??!?! OH, my lovelies, you will just have to stay tuned for the next installment to find out!!!!! More fun, excitement, drama, and pictures are to come in the next installment!! COMING SOON!!!

Yea! You're home! Hope your trip was so magical.....and it sounds like it was! I really, really, really can't wait for you to start your trippie! I want to hear all about it! And I love photos and videos so the more the better!

Welcome home!

Thanks Jen---it was great!! I hope you enjoy the new TR updates!

Welcome Home!

Can't wait for report!

Sorry short reply.

On treadmill. Too many Mickey head ice creams.

Thanks---welcome home to you too!! I hope you had a great time as well! I know what you mean about the ice creams--I so need to get rededicated to the weight loss!

So glad Megs enjoyed all of the smilies I left - can't wait to see all of the "smilies" on her face in your TR!!!

Trust me, you won't be disappointed!!! ;)

Welcome Home! I can't wait to read all about your trip and see the pictures. I will catch up next weekend when I get home from our trip that starts on Wed, but I know all too soon it will be over.

Have a great trip!!! Be careful and have fun!!

Hi Jen:wave2: , glad you made it home safe and sound!
popcorn:: Can't wait to here about the magic pixiedust: and see all those pics. Deb.

Thanks Deb!! We had a great one---I can't wait to share all the pics and videos with you all too!!!

Yeay, yeay, yeay! You started your TR! I understand completely about being impatient to leave for WDW!

I do believe it was Morrow where I curbed the van after we got off the highway to get breakfast Saturday morning.

Glad to hear that you didn't run into any traffic in ATL. :yay:

I can't wait until you get to the next installment, because that's when you arrive at Mickey's, right? ::yes::

Love it so far! More, more, more...Please! popcorn:: popcorn::
I sorta' envy the ability to have car-coma. I can never get comfortable when riding to the point where I'm almost more comfortable driving than riding in the passenger seat. Love the pic though...I won't tell! :ssst:

FANTASTIC first installment!!! I felt like my insides were jumping up and down the whole time you were talking about yall's little "mickey's house dance" when Tom was headed home! :rotfl: Ugh, and Megan's smile in the van picture is absolutely priceless - she really is a beautiful child! Oh, but how you are killing me with this "leave them wanting more" trend you've started - I don't know if I can take it much longer! How am I supposed to make it until September if the TR I'm living my life vicariously through won't hurry up already! :lmao: Sorry, just had to get that out of my system - guess I was having one of your "GO GO GO" moments! :rotfl2: Hope you'll forgive me! :goodvibes Can't wait till the next installment to hear what time yall made it "home". Oh, and all about the "reunion" with the rest of the family! Woohoo!

You are totally more patient than I would have been....glad to see you made up for the delay with no real traffic tie-ups!

I am glad someone can understand my so-unlike me unpatient moments!!

I TOTALLY think you must have had your van incident in Morrow---they had this really obnoxious main median going down the main strip off the expressway that gave us quite a few headaches when we exited the expressway and when we wanted to get back on the expressway in the morning---needless to say we had to do quite a few turn-arounds!!!!

We went through ATL very late and hit the HOV lane---glided right through!! WOO HOO!!! BTW, what the heck does HOV stand for? We kept trying to figure it out--we don't have HOV lanes up here--so wish we did!

The next installment is already in the works---do you think we make it to Mickey's?!?!?! ;) ;) ;)

Love it so far! More, more, more...Please! popcorn:: popcorn::

I am so glad you are enjoying it so far!!! More is coming soon! Stay tuned! I totally envy her ability to sleep as much as she did in the car. It is hard for me to do so--I felt like I needed to stay awake on Friday for Tom's sake, and Saturday I was just TOO excited!

FANTASTIC first installment!!! I can feel your tortured soul through your typed words--I am so sorry for dragging it out for you!!! ;) :lmao: I am really honored that you are enjoying it so far--the next installment will be here soon! I think writing this TR is just like going to WDW---you want to do and see it all in one fowl swoop--but you also want to drag it out and make it last forever! OH THE CONFLICT AND DRAMA!!!! I hope you can truly enjoy it along the way--so much fun to share with you all!!! Thanks for your sweet words about our darling Megan--there are pictures to come that IMO are breathtakingly beautiful!!!! I know I am biased, but WOW! Tom and I know we are going ot have to lock her up when she gets older to protect her from the boys! You will see what I mean soon!!!!

You are totally more patient than I would have been....glad to see you made up for the delay with no real traffic tie-ups!

Oh trust me, my patience was so thin!! OH HOW I WISHED WE COULD HAVE FLOWN!!! I really wish we could have known long enough ahead of time to find cheap airfare, but no luck this time. I think going forward, the best way to plan our trips is to somehow find cheap airfare (ANY TIPS FROM ANYONE ON HOW TO DO THIS?!?!?) and THEN book our Disney trip! When we are leaving from this area, that seems the only reasonable way to fly! I really would love some advice for the next time on how to secure cheap airfare!!! Tom DEFINITELY helped reduce driving time by pushing that pedal to the floor! I won't say how fast---but YIKES, we were flying!!!

I am pretty sure it was Morrow -- there was a Southlake Mall sign that I spotted and a huge center median.

We went through ATL very late and hit the HOV lane---glided right through!! WOO HOO!!! BTW, what the heck does HOV stand for? We kept trying to figure it out--we don't have HOV lanes up here--so wish we did!

Gotta love that HOV lane -- it is a godsend when you are driving through the city.

It stands for High Occupancy Vehicle :thumbsup2

The next installment is already in the works---do you think we make it to Mickey's?!?!?! ;) ;) ;)

Well, gosh, I hope so -- I hope you weren't wandering aimlessly around Morrow, GA trying to get back on the freeway for ten days! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Great Start! I would have been jumping out of my skin waiting to leave. I am the most impatient person!! I guess that's why we usually get up a 2 AM and leave straight out! Once I'm up, I am ready to go!
Love the car coma picture!

I'll bet you drove right past my house! (We're right between I-24 and I-65 just north of Nashville!)

I'm dying to know how long it took you to get to Mickey's House from Nashville - we've never driven (heck, we've never been at all!) and are trying to calculate the distance and whether or not to take two days to travel or not!

I can't wait for more of the TR!

Just found your TR yesterday & have been getting absolutely nothing done all day while reading your great story. What a wonderful family you have & what a blessing your beautiful Megan must be to you. Can't wait to read about your adventures in WDW.:cool1:

I'm so jealous that it only takes you 12 hours of driving to get to WDW. It takes us 22-24 hours! UGH! We fly when we can, but with the prices going up so high we may have to drive again some time (if I want to keep going).

Enjoying your TR so far. Can't wait till you arrive at the Most Magical Place!

Hi Jenn,:wave2: just got back and getting caught up with everyone again..

Great start to your TR..... Can't wait to hear more :) Yes I wonder if there are any "dis spottings in your TR as well?"
Yes the HOV lanes are the ONLY good thing about driving thru Atlanta....

Hi...just wanted to say that today I came upon your TR and am soo happy I did. I'm only up to page 6 so I have lots to catch up on but I wanted to tell you that you have a beautiful family. I've already teared up a couple of times while reading your TR. See although I've never had a preemie...and can't imagine how hard that is...all my children are somewhat special needs. My youngest, DS2, has a speech/language delay and also has sensory integration disorder. For a while there we thought it was apraxia, (and it may still be diagnosed as such in the future but for right now it is just a speech/language delay), and I have researched alot about apraxia. DS2 has PT 1xper wk, OT 2xwk and ST 3xwk. He's been in therapy since he was 18 mths old but just recently has really blossomed. He's upto about 50 words right now and has gotten those cvcv combinations down :cool1: As you can see, I can totally relate to how what many might believe are the little things really are great accomplishments for our little ones. We also have a mixture of hyposensitivity and hypersensitivity which makes life very unpredictable, but I would never change anything for the world. I've also noticed that DS2 does very well at the fair and he did great at USO last year. You would think that all that stimulation would tear them down but they're :thumbsup2. So  to you and your family. I hope to catch up really soon. I can't wait to hear about your wonderful experiences at the World.

Sorry...didn't mean to ramble on.

TO ALL MY LOVELY PTR FOLLOWERS:

Yes, I am posting one more time---am I crazy or what?!??!?! I just wanted to take a moment before we leave to thank all of you who have joined in our journey so far at this early stage to live vicariously through our words and pictures--you all are the GREATEST!!! I am so honored that so many of you have chosen to "get to know us" through this thread and stayed tuned to hear our story and learn about our great family. I cherish all the "DISfriendships" that have been created through the sharing of our plans and our lives--I truly feel blessed to have "met" each of you, and know that I will be thinking of you as I experience the next 10 days at the "WORLD!" I realize that not everyone understands our love to "DIS," and I do feel sorry for those who don't "get it!" These boards are a unique community of souls brought together to share in joy, hope, and dreams--maybe this crazy world we live in could actually use a bigger dose of this to help make things right! I just want you all to know that I appreciate all the support, the well wishes, the advice, and the enthusiasm that you have bestowed to me--it has made the experience and the planning that much richer. Sharing with you about our family has also helped me to better understand and appreciate the true blessings that God has bestowed upon me--my family: my incredible parents, who even through rough times instilled in us the same beautiful philosophies of Walt himself--to keep moving forward, dream big, and follow your dreams and goals until they come true, my siblings (Mike and Kris) who have been my lifelong friends and sources of great support to me, my niece and nephews who I love beyond compare and have enjoyed vicariously experiencing the joy and enthusiam of going on their first trip to the WORLD with, my darling Megan who is living proof of God's miracles around us, the truest epitome of all that is love, and the most precious and rarest treasure that ever existed, and my beloved Tom, who has been my best friend and consummate funny man for the past 15 years, my true soul mate and companion that God delivered to me to love and be loved unconditionally. I am SUCH a blessed woman!!! I am eternally grateful that God blessed me with such a wonderful family. We are all excited to be going to the "happiest place on Earth," but realizing I am going with such blessings in tow, makes me truly elated!!

Thanks for reading!!! Stay tuned for more wonderful adventures ahead!!! Jen

Hello to all my lovely readers!!! I am so sad to say that we are in fact-----HOME! Oh it is such a difficult day!

What a wild start! I admit that as I was reading about your "road rage" (as I like to call it) I was worried you were going to say that you got into an accident...thank God that didn't happen! (see, it could have been worse. :rotfl: )

I think you'll make it to the World during your next update. I hope you made EXCELLENT time the next travelling day!

I am pretty sure it was Morrow -- there was a Southlake Mall sign that I spotted and a huge center median.

Wow Jackie--our ships crossed the same paths--AND we both almost took out the same median!! AWESOME!! :rotfl:

Gotta love that HOV lane -- it is a godsend when you are driving through the city.

It stands for High Occupancy Vehicle :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info! Makes sense!!!

Well, gosh, I hope so -- I hope you weren't wandering aimlessly around Morrow, GA trying to get back on the freeway for ten days! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

It seemed like it took us 10 days to get back to the interstate---but I'll leave that lovely story for the next installment!!! ;o)

Great Start! I would have been jumping out of my skin waiting to leave. I am the most impatient person!! I guess that's why we usually get up a 2 AM and leave straight out! Once I'm up, I am ready to go!
Love the car coma picture!

We usually do the drive in one shot--leaving around 3am, but since Tom had to work, we had to rearrange our plans. I like it SO much better when it is all done in one day. AND I like it even MORE when we can just get on a plane and fly--with the way ticket prices are going though, we might have to stick to driving from now on. BOO!!!

At some point, I am sure we were parallel to you!! :) We stay straight down 75 until FL, but I would think that it would take you roughly 10-11 hours to drive it--depending on exactly how far north you are of Nashville and how fast you drive. You can go to Mapquest and get an accurate calculation directly from your doorstep!!! I think it would TOTALLY be a doable one day drive! I hope that helps! I am so glad you are on board for the TR!! ENJOY!!!

Just found your TR yesterday & have been getting absolutely nothing done all day while reading your great story. What a wonderful family you have & what a blessing your beautiful Megan must be to you. Can't wait to read about your adventures in WDW.:cool1:

WELCOME ABOARD!!! I am so glad you found me, and even more glad that you are enjoying our story! You can't imagine how fortunate we feel every time we think about our baby girl and our lovely family! I think you will thoroughly enjoy our adventures!! Thanks again for joining in on the fun!

WELL, as you will soon find out, we did actually make it down there in a little over 12 1/2 actual driving hours---but I am sure the law enforcement agencies of the states we drove through would not be happy with the speed at which we were travelling!! ;) :bitelip: A--hee hee! I am sure if you stick strictly to the limit, we should have made it there in about 14 hours. JUST to give you some comparison! I do feel sorry for you that it does take that long for you to drive!! OUCH! I know what you mean about the airfare prices!! We live VERY close to CVG--Cincy's International airport--which just so happens to be one of the MOST expensive airports to fly out of!! OH lucky us! Now add on the price hike for the elevated cost of gas, and you need to begin selling body parts to fly out of here!!! It is SO frustrating!

Annette--WELCOME HOME!!! I am sure you all are missing the WORLD as much as we are! YES, I DO wonder if there are any "DIS spottings" to come?!?!!? HMMM???????? ;) The HOV lane is one of our favorite parts of the road trip!! I felt like we had our own personal lane--especially that late at night!

Melissa, Thanks SO MUCH for joining in and sharing your story--and there is NO rambling that you need to apologize for!! ;) I am sure you feel the same way I do that when I find another mom that deals with some of the same daily obstacles that I encounter, I just want to hug them and I get so excited realizing there ARE others out there that can understand and relate to our struggles. It has been difficult at times dealing with everything we have gone through with Megan because there really isn't anyone around us who has a similar experience or can understand what we have had to go through. It has been a VERY long discovery process--we went through so many doctors and specialists--each only revealing a small piece of the puzzle. Her apraxia (which has somehow never affected her speech) is directly tied to her development of Sensory Integration Disorder and her somewhat OCD tendencies. She has been in multiple therapies since she was 14 months old, and has luckily moved beyond her PT in December, but still has OT 1x per week. It is sometimes hard to believe that even after this much time, we still have to do the therapy route, but we are committed to doing whatever it takes!! I'm sure you feel the same!! There are moments on this trip, that are incredibly important and amazing to Tom and I, but would probably seem very uneventful to others. I will be sharing these all with you all, and I know that you will be able to appreciate them as one who can understand their profoundness! Enjoy, and THANKS for joining in! Here's a hug for you and your little dude!!

that was beautifully said!!

Well thank you sweetie!

I caught up on everything...sorry I had not been around for a while.
And you are back now! How exciting and sad at the same time!
What a wild start! I admit that as I was reading about your "road rage" (as I like to call it) I was worried you were going to say that you got into an accident...thank God that didn't happen! (see, it could have been worse. :rotfl: )

I'm glad you had a chance to catch up, but I also know why you have been so busy, and I hope you are feeling SO much better! I think Kristi thought I was close to wrecking the car, but I just needed everyone to GET OUT OF MY WAY!!! ;)
I think you'll make it to the World during your next update. I hope you made EXCELLENT time the next travelling day!

HMMMMM. We will JUST have to wait and see!!!

You know, I mapquested it and it says it would take more than 13 hours from here (we're only 10 miles north of Nashville)! When I read how quickly you made it from KY, I was SURE there had to be better news than that! I want to do it in one day, but DH isn't looking forward to rolling into WDW late at night... so we'll see what happens!

HAPPY 34TH BIRTHDAY MIKE!!!! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I HOPE IT IS A GREAT ONE!! WE ALL LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!

Happy birthday to Mike! Sunday is my own 34th birthday, so YEAH for the June crowd!
