We are long time Disney fans and after many years of wanting to book a trip for just us two, my daughter and I are finally doing it! We are both crazy about Disney and want to do something like a “monorail crawl” or “drink around Epcot” but more entertainment focused. We don’t drink and aren’t big eaters. Any ideas for something fun we could do? We love commando touring by the way, so something scavengerish would be fun for us!

Well, if you happen to be going at Christmastime, you can do a loop to check out all the decorations.

But if you're there at a different time, maybe one of these ~~~
  • Take a selfie with a Hidden Mickey in each lobby.
  • Take along a small stuffed animal and snap it's picture in every country in Epcot.
  • For each ride you go on, try to get a stranger in line to take a pic with you.
There are also some already-organized scavenger hunt type things. Here's one. Another is hidden Pascals in the courtyard near the Tangled bathrooms - I've heard estimates from 10 to 22 of how many there are.

This book is a good source of little hidden tidbits as well.

My daughter and I are having a girls weekend in a few months and have done it before. It's so much fun to do something like that!

Even without being a big eater, you can snack around the world (be it the world showcase or different snacks you share throughout Disney parks in general).

I can't remember what it's called, but there's a service similar to bibbidi bobbidi boutique for adults. It has a wide range of services available.

Thanks, those are great ideas! We will be there when Christmas decorations are up, but have visited before and done the resort visiting....I like the hidden Mickey idea.

True...we are definitely more snackers!
Thanks

If you want a scavenger hunt, Epcot has Agent P's World Showcase Adventure and MK has both Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom and A Pirate's Adventure. I've never done any of them so can't vouch for them personally, and they may be too childish for your taste, but they all sound like good ways to encourage yourself to explore parks and look for the hidden story elements of the scavenger hunt. I'm thinking of doing at least one of them on my own upcoming trip.

Something to add about Sorcerers...

I've never even finished the very beginning of SotMK (of course I just started last visit). But I enjoy collecting the cards. And the nice thing about it is one gets a free packet for everyone in the party...on each visit to MK. So it might be fun to just build and maybe even trade with each other if you each get enough different cards.
