Hoping Molly will do her own YouTube channel so she can be as compensated as she deserves (looking at you, Tim Tracker) - but hope Duckfist is there on a very very limited basis. She does not need him on camera.

Did something go down between Tim and Molly? I see it mentioned here and there that they avoid each other but I don't watch him and she doesn't mention other vloggers in the videos (I don't do social media so I didn't even know she was leaving allears until it was mentioned here on the Disboards).

Not that I know of- I just saw online that his vlog is veeeeery lucrative and I doubt she was making anywhere near that for AE.

Not to turn this into a Tim Tracker thread. But he but mostly Jen has problems with just about every Vlogger. He really only gets along with Adam the Woo because they were childhood friends. Jen doesnt even like Adam.

Same! I tried those 2 videos as well and couldn’t get through them- they are nice enough, but they need that dynamic tour-guidey person who can also tell it like it is.

I researched a little more on Duckfist and looks like he was a cm at one point- and seems that he and Molly are close. I’m willing to give him a fresh look, but I hope he tones it down a bit- he comes across as very opinionated and self centered to me. And like he thinks he is so funny. Stop trying so hard and just be genuine.

I too love RJay. He cracks me up.

Yeah that's how I feel too. Again, nothing against them but I am really not a fan of Quincy, Breedlove and the new girl Emma. I liked the Molly and Quincy duo a lot - they knew how to balance off each other well. I don't get that same vibe from the three of them.

I felt the same way about Duckfist when he was on Allears. However, he is WAY better on his own Twitch streams. He comes across as more....genuine if that makes sense? He seems really chill when he's allowed to do his own thing. Though be aware that he does curse a lot more and talks about more adult topics than with Allears.

Judging from Molly's Instagram page, she is friends with Duskfist outside of Allears so I assume that once she starts her new channel he and Alan will have regular appearances.

Thanks for the info! Yep I thought Molly or Molly with Quincy worked well… and appreciate the info on D. Hopefully he will evolve with this new opportunity and I will like him more!

Molly has that “it” factor. She’ll do great with whatever she tries. I have a feeling that AJ probably didn’t respect Molly’s work enough, so Molly bounced. Good for her, I say! Know your worth, girl!

Alan and Duckfist became friends when Duckfist was Alan’s trainer during his college program.

As for Molly and Tim Tracker, no vloggers except Woo are friends with Tim and Jenn for a number of reasons, but it’s mainly because of past behavior of Jenn’s and also how they actively separate themselves from those that they basically have no use for.

I was doing some tedious work on my laptop today (copy-pasting every cell of a Boom Cards file into a Google Slides file, which takes forever,) and put the Oreo cookies Twitch episode on in the background. Loved it! Such good chemistry between those three that I can literally just listen to them eating Oreos for two hours. Can’t wait to see what they do when Molly’s contract is done and maybe they can talk parks a bit more. My only complaint is that I do miss the rest of the crew. If nothing else I hope Breedlove, Quincy, RJay, Morgan, Lindsey, etc. can do crossover guest spots on what I’m assuming will be their new channel.

Somehow, I totally missed that she was leaving. IMHO, she is what makes the AllEars videos fun to watch. Most of the videos without her are meh, whereas she really brings the other up when they are in videos with her. I suspect AllEars will continue without her, but expect their numbers to drop significantly.
Looking forward to see what she does next.

A problem I've been having even with Molly videos recently is that it feels so much like a commercial. She'd spout the same info that has been heard in videos before, to the point where I'd be like, "I've been watching you for years now, you don't need to explain this to me like I'm new or keep saying the same special fact that you've mentioned like 20 times now."

And then it hit me. Allears/DFB are all about helping NEW, fresh people plan/want to go to parks. They're for drawing new customers to WDW. Each video is made as if a new person had just shown up to watch it. And I just don't need that. I ate it UPPPP when planning my first trip, though.

Now I just want casual "so here's what I did in the Parks today" videos, not HERE LET ME HELP YOU PLAN PLAN PLAN LET'S GOOOOO did you know all these FACTS videos. Even the more creative videos still had a ring of a sales pitch to them.

So I'm glad she's leaving so I can watch her again--I'd stopped watching her for a while now because even her videos were too sales pitchy for me, ha. Except RTT. Which will probably stop now with her gone.

I feel like Molly is like your Italian grandma talking about making a proper pasta sauce when it comes to all things Disney. She really cares about every detail like a lot, and so it’s contagious. A lot of vloggers kind of give off the vibe that making it big as an Internet personality is their true passion and whatever they’re vlogging about is secondary.

I also think the All Ears group have that kind of “former theater kids” vibe that keeps them from coming off as Karens even as they’re very opinionated. Kind of fun, chill and quirky. Almost like the goofy energy of Smosh or College Humor if anyone watched those back in the day (although more squeaky clean given their target audience.)

I agree but at least for me I expected that going into their videos. Molly and the others are advertising the parks (plus Universal) to first timers that have no idea how WDW works. Whenever Molly would explain how Genie+/ILL or the virtual queue works, I would just fast forward and continue with the video. Molly is entertaining on her own to where it doesn't bother me that much. I saw that there's a new Molly video uploaded today that I'm excited to watch.

I'm excited to see what she does next once the Molly videos stop. My mom did point out to me that she made a new Youtube channel without any videos. I suspect that this channel will be her new one once the Molly videos on Allears end. It has 1.34k subscribers despite no videos uploaded so she will have no issues finding an audience. I have suspected this, especially with them phasing Quincy in more and more. I suspected that they were training Quincy to be the "next Molly."

But, then I thought maybe they were just trying to formulate a more diverse product.

I'm not surprised.


I am sure it was amicable, but I am curious how much of Molly's stuff will follow Molly to her new channel, and how much Allears will claim as its own. #fiddlefaddle? "and it's been magical."?

Quincy is ok…. But Molly has so much more personality.

Last year, after Molly coined the phrase "fancy rides" for individual attraction selections, we noticed that A.J. would use that term as well on DFB - though always crediting it to Molly. The other night we were watching a DFB video and A.J. was talking about them again and said something along the lines of "or ILLS as we like to call them". We all just laughed and said we guessed Molly got to retain custody of "fancy rides" in the split. Here's hoping she gets to keep "fiddle faddle" as well! !

I noticed the same thing LOL. Molly always said "fance ride" TM, so I wonder if she is truly trademarking that. She has to keep fiddle faddle, because that's hers! Her teaching how to fiddle faddle (and not give up) is what got me on TOT last visit

We had one nearly take us out as we were walking because he wanted to have a different view in the background and moved right into our path from the edge of a walkway, swinging the phone out in front of us! Gotta say that the recent Tim and Adam videos were some of the best stuff from either of them in a LONG time. They should stick together in the parks.
