I get that the hotel is dated and needs a refurb, but this is not what I expect of Disney.

The mold I encountered at the Boardwalk confirmed I will never return…
I dare you to look under the soap holder in the bathtub/ shower !
But this is Florida and MOLD is everywhere .
Black Mold is a serious health risk and should be taken seriously .
Since Covid I also pack mini package of Clorox or Lysol Travel wipes. Etc.

I searched everywhere to find a bleach free product since it is harsh on the caulking … Finally CLR Mold& Mildew Foaming Stain Remover Bleach Free !

I always find it hard to respond to messages like this. Yes, it shouldn't be the case and it should be reported.

On the other hand, you can look at the most expensive hotels Disney owns and you will find reports like this. At least for Europe and the US, including the Grand Floridian or Grand Californian.

It is not necessarily a refurb thing.
