Hey girls. I'm back home and wanting to go back. Whaaa!!! It was in the 90 degree range the last 2 days we were there and when I stepped off the plane late on Monday here in Illinois it was going to go down to 42 degrees and I was freezing. I kept hearing about how everyone wished jan jan and the devagirls would get there. I am sorry I missed you. The deva's were coming in at the same time I was leaving. Maybe next year. I did have a great time with everyone who was there. It was so nice meeting everyone and all the new people as well as those from last year were awsome people.

Is anyone else back yet? I already miss everyone.

Janjan, I had a wonderful time, thank you for asking. I never laughed so hard in my life. We have a bunch of comedians on this board. I wish you could have been there with us. I did book bounceback for 10/1 to 10/12 and I believe the other ladies who booked bounce back booked around that time too.

Oct 1st is the last value day at values it is $82 per night after the 1st it is $105. They will get the cost of that dining plan from me one way or another won't they. lol I would love to do French quarter someday but for now we are content with the values. I fear once I go moderate I will never want to go back to value. I would love to finally meet you. I also believe Linda, Timmy, and Bonz will bounce back around that time as well so it should be fun. I forget who else is bouncing from the glow group too.

home in rain soaked county. OMG-the water! I can't imagine being in a true hurricane. Winds are strong & landing was a knee jerker to say the least . We are lucky, no water in the house or standing in the yard. My parents & DSis aren't so fortunate. We literally could not see at times on the drive home. I hate coming back to this weather-high tomorrow a whopping 62 I am soooooo sick food ( for a day a least ) we left snacks, counters & table service. Woo hoo going back next year for more . I am going to modify dates to stay in value season, what ya think KB?

BONZ! I missed ya! I'm getting the same weather down here in Ontario, rain rain rain. I was thinking today about how scary flying in this would be as I am terrified of flying already. I would rather go in Value Season myself, does that end on Oct 1st?

I am glad you are back safe and sound. I am sorry to hear about the flooding your family has suffered. Hopefully there is not too much damage and the waters recede fast.

I agree the cold weather stinks. I have been wearing sweatshirts lately. I miss the heat.

Timmy's flight was delayed but she should be home soon. Linda called and she is home safe but had some scares with high winds almost blowing her off the road. How about those gas price hikes too. Oh yeah, who can forget Vix who got home safe but is sick.

Jen, Nicole are you guys home yet. I loved meeting you both you and wish we had more time to talk since you seemed like awsome peeps. Maybe next year. I hope I didn't forget anyone. I met so many wonderful people.

Honey I am home !!!!!!!!!!!! Just got in my apt. about 30 minutes ago... washed my facer and everything else and changed into pjs and I am wired.... they gave us vouchers at seattlest best while waiting for our flight!!!!!!!!

Just got to work this morning through flooded streets and torrential downpour. 5 inches of rain since 2am last night, and much more to come today thanks to Hanna. Looks like she'll be draping me with her western edge all the way up to Disney today, so should be a wet ride. 8 hours of work to go, then I'm on the road. Next time I talk to anyone from here, it'll be at WDW.

Ouch! Lost camera...I'd be inconsolable. Cameras are like oxygen for me. I just got finished uploading about 100 or so photos to my galleries from this past trip. Including the ones I took with my pee wee compact, like these of the Boma group:

Glad I made it too - I wish I had run into some of the group a little earlier too - I felt like I had to eat-and-run! I was worn out from that night until Saturday morning - the first chance I had to sleep in and catch up on zzz's. After Boma, I headed back, packed up my room, read for a while, went to bed around 1am, woke at 6am, showered, loaded my car, checked out of OKW, went to the Hilton, checked in, dropped my bags upstairs, and made the 8:30am conference start. Tuesday's conference went until 5pm, then they took us to dinner up on Sand Lake Drive, open bar and some partying until about 1am (financial advisors let loose after a day listening to annuity and mutual fund information!). Wednesday was wake up at 6am again, shower, pack, load luggage in the car, then hit the conference at 8:30am again...conference went until 4pm, then jumped in the car and drove home - made it home by 7pm, unpacked, read myself to sleep at around midnight, up at 7:30am and off to work. Friday...same thing. Friday night I conked out around 2am after staying up with friends, and slept until 11am Saturday morning. Aaaah...finally, some sleep!

And of course, here I am Sunday night at nearly 2am, typing on the boards...with a 7:30am wake up call tomorrow for work.

Ugh! I'm going to bed. See you all tomorrow!

Jan, forgot to tell you-no dream pass this year & it was not for lack of trying. I went to every customer relation @ every park & they still wanted me to PAY for an annual pass How rude!!!!!!

I'd really like to stay during value season next year, if all holds true it would still be in a few days of F&W, what do ya all think? I always mess with my dates anyway, let me know what works for you. I really think I am leaving the kidlets at home next year at least for MOST of the trip. Thinking they can come for a long weekend, but I'd like to hang with "big people" for awhile. What a bad mommy I am

It's sweats and jeans for me. People look at me like I am nuts too. I guess their bodies are already adjusted to the cold.

Your not a bad mom for leaving the boys home. Believe me if I could I would enjoy a girls only trip too. Problem is no family anywhere near me and a DH who is always gone traveling himself. I love the company of my son for the most part though and figure I might get him to go with me for about 4-5 more trips after that who knows. Still time away sounds so relaxing.
