Pooh, I feel your pain. I have some of the same situation and how I handle it is similar to you. The kids are the most important thing and I just think of what is good for them. I also keep track of their ages and am waiting for two more years when the oldest one will be old enough to drive. I will be waiting. Let the parents do the explaining. I am sorry to hear about your dog situation. I know it must hurt.

Well I got some more bad news today Wic has offically step down from the wedding. I know this is killing her as much as it is me but her health is more important and I wish her tons of pixie dust for better health.

Have to take Jilly into the vet tonight to look at her stitches as she (when our heads are turned) chews at her arm and has about 1/4 of the stitches out so the vet would like to see her. I am just hoping that she doesn't need anymore

I'm going to see the fireworks at Mk tonight, we plan on viewing from the poly beach. Then no real plans for tommorow other than going to services so we can help a synagogue have a minyan.

cherylp3, you will be spending the 4th in my very favorite place. Will you stick around to see the EWP also? I am happy for you. I know what a minyan is. I read a lot and have some Jewish friends too. I like knowing stuff. I like learning new stuff even more.

Nancy, I am so sorry to hear about WIC, better to know now than later but would be even better if she were not sick. I hope it is nothing really bad and she will be on the mend and soon. Is there anything I could do for her?

BTW, I have decided that maybe raising children is easier than raising dogs. I guess it depends on the children or dogs though. It is still a worry and concern.

Seriously, was it a dream prize? I have never heard of his before. They always give me those certificates.

That would be a big hit with me as the AP's are the most expensive part of the trip for me. Just think of all the Mickey bars I could afford and how many trips.

Kungaloosh! I am back from fireworks and the adventurer's club ( I have a PI annual pass that I bought last mousefest) No EWP tonight I think, they had the EWP on the poly beach in front of MK displaying the flag and stars and stripes. I will post pictures later!

Ohhhhhhhh I am so jealous... I was soooo tempted to spend some money I dont have when I called earlier for POP for the weekend.. since I am off Saturday, Sunday and Monday... they gave me a standard room for 2 nights for $131.40 and that includes taxes already!!! I have the free airfare and AP but then when I check for car rentals it is about $95.00 hmmmm if only I can learn to take the bus... then I can wing the room.. hmm The right rate at the wrong time
