Stroke Oh no! when will they know for sure. I know I had told you this before but I had one about 8years ago this August.

As far as staying away from stress goes you should pack up your things and move here and live with me and (I have an extra room) and I will take care of you and there will be NO Stress!! You will not lift a finger YOU HEAR !!! you will sit and relax and enjoy life like you should

False alarm folks! To the best of my knowledge I have not had a stroke or a heart attack as yet. I have been caught before the fact. It is all good news. There are an awful lot of folks walking around with heart conditions and mostly you would not know it. Drugs are a wonderful thing and sometimes worth the risk and/or money. The scary thing is how many of my favorite diet foods are on my verboten list. Who would think that spinach and Brussel Sprouts could be deadly?

Nancy, I appreciate your offer but as you do not have any small children for me to play with I will stick here for a bit and try to acclimate my mind to my circumstances and attempt to keep from stroking out from frustration. I have never been lazy and truly do enjoy working just not while someone else is sitting and enjoying all the benefits. Along with my Disney dreams I find myself crunching numbers in my head to see if I could afford to move to a certain Florida mobile park. I have two more years before SS kicks in so I may have to wait AND develop a taste for dogfood first.

WIC, it would drive me nuts being pampered. As much as I do not want to fetch and carry for anyone in September I do not want others to do so for me either. I am as independent as a hog on ice. I have been working in the yard today. I got up very early before it got warm and worked a bit at a time. Turned the a/c on today too. Love it!

Ants, I started the Coumadin last night and have been reading up on it extensively. Tom is going to Brown County to let me get some 'rest' for a few days. Why don't you all come over HERE!!! My neighbors would be so impressed if I had a wild party. Heck, I am not sure I have ever even been to one. (I am lying and have a very good memory of those far off days).

Bonz, how did you fare in the recent storms? We had tornadoes aplenty down here, not too close though. Close enough to scare us to death.

Heck you would have lots of kids to play with remember there is Jilly, Luca, Molly and Lyllith and they would all appreciate the company, then from keeping you to bored you can take the pooper scooper and clean up after they all are done pooping

Getting in on this late and I give up as I will never catch up with this thread.

10 things about me

1. Married for 13 years to my DH

2. Adopted my son when he was 4 and now he is 13 and the crazy teen years are here. The next 5 years should be fun. Yeah right as fun as sand in my underpants.

3. Have a 5 year old shih tzu and a 9 month old dachshund. Thank goodness there are no teen hormones to contend with there but then again my DS doesn't pee on my rug. Gotta love that carpet shampooer

4. Have 4 brothers, 3 living, one deceased this past february, father deceased, mother seriously nut case.

5. Woman of all trades, good at job hopping and working more than one job at a time. We now own our own trucking company that I manage so I am stuck no matter how boring it gets.

6. Longest job 8 years at UPS as a prefered customer associate, worked as a teachers aid for 4 years with teens with learning and behavior differences as well as with all ages with physical and mental challenges, worked as a nurses aid in OB for 2 years, etc. etc. etc.

7. Never been fired always gave 2 weeks notice.

8. Have enough college credits to have 2 associates degrees but for some reason I never bothered to get all I needed for 1 specific associates. I just like to learn so I took what interested me. I really need to go back and get the few credits I need to finally get my associates degree. My GPA is 3.825 so at least I know I learned something.

9. Live in the land of cows and corn.

10. Long to live somewhere warmer than IL and minus the cows and corn

Now folks that is not necessarily so. It is not that I do not like animals it just that I am downright scared to death of them and BTW, dear Nancy, I am well acquainted with excrement around here and quite adept at sidestepping and clean it up. Doubt I could teach the dogs to read either.

Mom2Evie, thank you for protecting me. If I could take a pill for the worst phobia I have I would chose not to be scared of animals. I think it is because I grew up in a house crawling with rodents. Fur frightens me to pieces.

cherylp3, thank you for the info. It looked interesting. Is there lot rent involved? The place I have been looking at has a fee of $105 a month but it includes many utilities and you own the land plus you can buy a fully furnished place for under 40K. Come complete with a friend and a sister too! I will file that info away for the next time someone asks me to find them a place down there.
