The good is I still get to go to my favorite place on earth

The sad is I will not be there for the September fun and celebration

The good is that my CM friend is going to stay and play for a few days and we have a phenomenal rate at POP for 4 ngts August 16 - 20.

The sad is that I'll have to wait to meet everyone until another time.

But another good is that I will be here to help with the new Disney grandbaby

I'm glad you get to go to WDW, but I am sad it won't be while we're there. Of course you may remain a membe. I guess we forgot to tell you this when you joined, but this stuff don't wash off. You're stuck with us.

I laughed about drinking being the problems behind Windows 95 and thought the same as Rei then what's the excuse for Windows Vista. lol Maybe at microsoft they are still drinking on the job.

A former co-worker of mine, a developer, just got hired by Microsoft & he moved from Norfolk out to Washington. He was completely incompetent. I couldn't stand working with him. Anytime his code broke, he would only say, "For some reason there was a failure..." instead of "Oops, my bad. Here's why it happened & here's what I did to make sure it won't happen next time." And God fobid if he thought something was wrong with your code. He'd throw you under the freakin bus. I can't believe they hired him. I lost what little faith I had left in Windows.

Hey, Timmy! Would love to see you!! I'm about an hour and 15 mins from RDU (and I don't drive!!). Hmm, wonder where Holly Springs is located...I'll check the map.

Very allergic to fish, so Sushi would not be the best choice for me to try.

But if Holly Springs is close enough my daughter would drive me out and we could eat somewhere else - IF you could give up Sushi for a day! LOL

Mia knows an incredible restaurant that makes authentic Southern Food - do ypu loike that? Cannot remember the name, but it's not far from Chapel Hill, and about 15 minues from the airport.

FigmentFinder, if I lived near an airport I could get away for those fabulous three day spur of the moment trips that I keep hearing about. You could always do what my dd does, she just sends the grandson over here and then he tells me that I have to drive him all the way home to get his equipment and OH, BTW, my clothes need washing AND I have to be at the baseball field in 15 minutes!!

I are so happy. The dead big screen TV, couch and other items are gone!! One step closer to the HDTV and Wii~~, not to mention how nice and empty the house looks. At least until I buy a new chair. Got the yard mowed and sticks picked up too. It has been a good day. Oh, yeah, Tom came home too. I saw him in the kitchen and can hear the TV so I know he is doing well.

What did I do with my Saturday? Well, I wanted to be sleeping in and recooperating from my Friday night (bithday party w/friends) but that wasn't going to happen. I got up & started getting my DD & I ready for a friend's son's baseball game. Poor kid got pretty sick overnight, and he wasn't going to be playing. So, no game. Then we were heading to the store to buy a birthday gift for DD's friend. Her party was this afternoon. Wait, I check the invitation and it turns out that it's tomorrow afternoon, so we're not doing that. Instead we did lunch with my best friend & her daughter, then shoe shopping (pairs for all four of us), then to the local petting zoo/playgound and then Target for random stuff. I got home at about 5pm & I think I've done enough for the day, don't you?

Edited to add that I'm one step closer to "popping down to WDW for a weekend". I'll be buying annual passes in September for Evie & I. It will be cheaper for us to do that since we'e going back for 7 days in April. Posessing those will make it so much easier to just hop on a flight on Airtran of SWA & stay a night in a value resort. Kevin will just have to get over it. Would it be bad if I left DD at home?

Hello All

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. So today I went and visited my niece. For those who do not know she was due March 26 and she was born December 21 weighing 1lb 13oz. She is doing so well she now weighs a little over 10lbs. I FINALLY have a picture of her. My brother lives in Indiana so it makes it really hard to see her. I cant wait in 4 days I will be in DL.
